My ps3 got the dreaded 'YLOD' two days ago and I am GUTTED.
I was about to get Sony to send me the 'Coffin' and get them to repair it, but decided to go with videogame911 because they try to save my hard drive data.

Home is awesome, I'm in a VERY limited beta (in terms of whats available) and it is fun as hell. I find myself thinking I will go into Home for a few minutes just to see whats up and end up spending hours there. And it's not a game.
Trust me it's awesome. From what I've seen so far of NXE is total crap.
Can a 360 owner on here HONESTLY tell me what they think of NXE? And not re-spew crap that this tosser was saying?

Yes the Wii is killing all, but lets not forget that the wii for the most part sucks balls. I love Nintendo, always have, but they used to make great games and have decent gfx, in the case of SNES days..best gfx. But to dumb down gaming for the 'casual' gamers is a killer business move, but TERRIBLE FOR GAMING....

You cannot just Analise certain country's or regions. Business just doesn't work that way.
Fifa STILL plays like sh1t, and PES still plays amazing. And in football, that's what counts. Not, stadium graphics, not licenses, nor stats, THE GAME. THE PLAYABILITY. And in those two crucual points, Fifa FAILS.

This is a global war (if you want to call it a war). And the PS3 is selling well in ALL the world. 360 isn't. keep your hair on this is nowhere near over yet.
Allot of 360 cheerleaders like to spout stats, and attach rates....yawn.
But in reality, it's only doing well in the US. Not the globe. That a HD era console winner, it does not make.
It's good old skoo fun, but Alpha3 blows it away, and so does MvC2 and CvSNK2.
Plus the online is HORRIBLE, ( I guess there is no such thing as fun online fighting, because od split second timings) and no mid air blocking means cheap p()ssys who go Ryu, Guile, and Akuma all night just fireball and sweep, fireball and sweep, fir.......YAWN.

I was playing SSF2t the other night and all of a sudden it powered off. When I tried to switch it on again it does a flashing yellow light, then beeps twice and goes back to red! YELLOW LIGHT OF DEATH!
Similar to 360's RROD but I think the Sony failure rate is around 6% not 33!! Anyway I'm bummed out, coz it's out of warranty and I didn't back up my hard disk and Sony...
