SHOES... Let that sink in.

@Root
Well, I personally have not felt an "American F'yeah" vibe shoved in my face. I don't feel that this game has shoved any side down my throat, any more than the previous AC games have. But I guess that's just me.

@Threydor: You are correct. I apologize. As where others have felt that vibe from the very beginning, I have yet to feel it -- and I'm 6 hours in.

I don't think you will get any disagrees. A lot of fans have wanted an AC that takes place in China or Japan.
I hope we get one. Even if it's not "Assassin's Creed 4" and just some sequel with a subtitle (like Brotherhood/Revelations.)

I personally have found out most people with your opinion of ACIII, have either not played the game or didn't finish it at all.
I just started playing ACIII and love it. I'm enjoying the character development. I like that the game has had a slow build up and that I wasn't some big-bad ass-powerful assassin right out of the box.

Also, when people say ACIII has this "America F'Yeah" vibe, I wonder if they thought AC had a "Middle East F...

I don't see the difference between PS4 (and possibly Xbox720) not playing used games, and the invention of the "Online Pass."

I'm just assuming here, but I have a feeling we may see developers dump the online pass all together on the next gen, and it will be replaced by a fee to "activate" a used game. So, in other words, the console will still play used games, but you would buy a used game for 10-20 bucks cheaper, and still need to pay MORE on top...

Yes, I have an HDTV. I've had one since 2006. And even a craptastic game can come in 720/1080p, my friend. Obviously you're not a "big walking dead fan" if you don't care about story. ;)

Personally, I don't care what it looks like.
As long as it has a great story/characters to suck me in, I'll be good. And with Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker actually voicing their characters from the show, we won't have to worry about horrible voice impersonators.

I've maybe spent an hour total playing online. The "Agent Hunt" mode is fun... in small doses.
RE is not meant to be an online game. I enjoyed playing the campaign solo more than anything else.

Resident Evil 6 was better than RE5, in my opinion.
And with the "classic" laser site option turned on, and the new patch that allows me to pull the camera out from the character's ass, it feels more like RE4/5.

I've played ONE game where the main character shot at kids in a school. But he misses. And breaks down.
(Postal)
But that game didn't make -ME- want to go buy a gun and shoot at people. If anything, it prevented me from doing it.

I don't see the problem with what was being asked. It's just out of respect for the victims. A "moment of silence" type thing. Same reason my town asked people to leave their Christmas lights off for 1 night out of respect.
My town wasn't blaming Christmas lights for the massacre.

I know he wasn't saying that in the article. I am just stating my own opinion about the series.

I played both "Fallout" and "Fallout 2" back in the day on PC. And I personally think "Fallout 3" and "Fallout: New Vegas" were better games. I wasn't happy about the problems they had on console (like the freezing/drop in FR/etc.) but I still enjoyed them immensely.

In fact, I think I enjoyed NV more than 3. It had a closer vibe to the first 2 PC games, plus I liked the sunny weather more than the dark "ground zero" aspec...

A lot of people who played "Journey" said it was GOTY worthy.
Others said a downloadable game would "never" win GOTY...

I'm glad to see both "The Walking Dead" and "Journey" prove those nay-sayers wrong. Both games have been receiving this award from various gaming mags/websites... And both very much deserve this accolade. If you've played them both, you at least have an educated opinion. If you haven't, then your op...

I don't think MGS:GZ will come out in 2013.
MGS4 was announced in 2005 and didn't end up being released until 2008. What makes anyone assume he'd release MGS:GZ the following year, after announcing it?

Watch_Dogs was revealed for the first time at E3 this past summer. I highly doubt it's coming out in 2013.
Last of Us - Revealed at the end of 2011. (coming out in 2013)
GTAV - Revealed at the end of 2011. (coming out in 2013)

See where I'm going here?

I never played DMC 2 or 3.
So maybe the day this game comes out, I'll just go pick up the DmC HD Collection instead....

I love the camera angle options. That is what I was looking forward to most from this patch. Now with the camera out of from their asses and the classic laser site on, it feels more like RE4/5.

Yes. The "Agent" is only playable in Co-Op. He can't open doors/pull switches/etc. He is just a tag along. Pretty much created for the "No Hope" difficulty mode.

We all know Capcom loves charging us for stuff. So, maybe they felt the need to include "Free" in the description so we didn't automatically assume it would cost money. :P

"Eternal Darkness" was a pretty dark and f'd up game. A lot of people I grew up with still say that was one of, if not their #1 favorite game on the Nintendo GameCube.
