HD-DVD has only Toshiba players and LG is on both sides. BR has the major players, Panasonic, Pioneer, Phillips, Samsung. Those are the companies backing BR along with LG. Toshiba can't go against the two Giant Companies, Sony and Panasonic. All HD-DVD has is just that stupid 18 month deal, thats not promoting anything and gaining interest from consumers. Sony and Matsushita aka Panasonic just dropped Thors hammer on them. KO'd!

I do think that Haze, KZ2 and maybe even Unreal3 will get bad reviews just because there PS3 games. They will pick the littlest things like why isn't the frame rate higher and the resolution at 1080p. Reviewers will say, we expect more from PS3. LMFAO!! This game is going to smash Halo3. I'm expecting scores of 9.0-9.4 and maybe 9.8 or even 10!
Thats it? They blame it on the learning curve and the story not making sense for a gamer who isn't familiar. All those animations from Gabe and they gave it a low score? well its PSU so it doesn't matter. I can't wait for this game.
360 is an automatic car not very fun. PS3 is a car with manual tranny, its a piece of artwork. Now, which one is more hard to learn at first? PS3 is a maze with many challenges that are rewarding. 360 is a simple walk in a straight line, which results in being just plain simple. Envying doesn't even exist to PS3 fans.
PS3 sales are good even with that expensive price tag and it hasn't been a year yet. PS3 has a ton of most likely AAA titles coming soon and in 2008. Do you xbots realize that 360 has had most of its powerful games dished out way too fast and the fact that it looks like all of them are at peak performance. Japanese people are smart and they know that so far with the 360s lifespan, it has been getting heavy-hitter titles way too fast and early. Gears is a 3rd person shooter. Those kinds of shooters will have better graphics than FPS. But graphic wise it seems that FPS are looking better and better, look at KZ2, insane graphical atmospheric beauty. Halo to Haze can be compared but not Haze to Gears or Halo to Gears. Imagine huge levels, deep rendering and deep textures. Insane Character models like in Heavenly Sword and Insane Art work. Also if they promote the game just like the first and second, it will be a huge success. Ninja Gaiden 2 is like the planet Pluto, which is not considered a anything anymore. GOW would probably be in the top 5 biggest Production Value games ever. NG2 is coming out on a system which is near PEAK level, LMAO. PS3 is a big ? on what can be done, which is a good thing.
It's not real life simulator. But damage would add a good element of game play. The lighting effects and shadowing are incredible, if you look at the dash you can see the sun light coming at different angles. Pretty cool, can't wait!
I think EA is trying real hard to get it right for PS3. But an average of 7 is not good for any system.
This game looks sooo crazy. The best part is, it's not using the unreal engine. So in the near future, expect the unreal engine to be blown away. PS3 is not relying so much on that engine like 360 is. The Naughty Dog team is so good. Insane even!
