As much as I'm glad that they used the hardware that they used, and maybe it will pay off in the long run, it sure didn't help their marketshare by making it so expensive.
But I know solidifying Blu-ray was a large part of the Ps3's creation.
You know that the 360 is short on exclusives that aren't projects or Kinect games when the first thing listed is timed DLC.

Alan Wake is a masterpiece, that is, once you buy the masterpiece DLC to get the entire story, get past the low resolution and repetition, and learn to love having every terror put under a spot light when you first meet it, totally NOT undermining the horror aspects.

LOT always cherry-picks what they post to show a large favor to the 360 version, even when there are almost none or they're more or less identical.
They made a big deal about the Ps3 version's frame rate, but during gameplay it only seemed to dip a few frames, while its spikes were actually significant changes (up to 15 additional fps). The averages were about the same, but the Ps3's "sporadic frame rate" had MUCH more significant positives than negativ...
