2nd panel down is 576p.
3rd down is 720p.
The "fake" images should look SEVERELY (over 30%) worse than these "real" ones if the claims that they're so unreliable is true.
While it certainly doesn't look "bad" it does look a bit blurry.
And Anti-aliasing doesn't seem to affect all surfaces.
Tell me; do the "fake" images look so much different from these?

MLB 11 with Move support could be cool.
I just hope that along with titles like SOCOM 4, we see titles that take advantage of the technology that we saw with the 'blocks' demonstration at E3, where they were reaching forward, picking up blocks and stacking them closer to themselves.

That's kinda cool.
Not all games on the 360 and PS3 output in 1080p. AW has been in development for around 5 years, since before the 360 had an HDMI cable. It's likely they haven't added 1080p support.
Impressions from one guy from the Daily Telegraph UK and we can pretend that confirms it is an "unbelievably good" game?
It sure doesn't take much to impress fanboys...
EDIT: Ahh, it's another article from N4PS3G's blogspot channel.
Take your own advice. No one has said that it runs in native 720p. Just that "this game is 720p"
We'll have to wait and see if it's just more PR using the output resolution as their touted resolution or not.
Does the disagree button relieve the pain of reality? Because no one has stated that it runs in NATIVE 720p.
I had someone tell me that HD "Wouldn't do anything for Wii games"
BullCRAP. There are lots of games with great art styles that would benefit from being more crisp.
Remedy tried to blame downsampling, but you can tell that isn't the case from the screens. Finally someone else that noticed that he didn't say NATIVE 720p.
They'll slurp up the PR crap now and pretend like they don't care later. Happens every time.
Crytech and Remedy: the most outspoken devs at the time.
"but I am intrigued by the Nintendo 3DS. In fact, I think 3D for the Home just isn't worth it unless ur TV is HUGE. Im talkin 70 inches+"
The Irony-o-meter just exploded.
"here we go again
its SD - HD allover again"
The sad part is, some people STILL won't let it go. I had a person tell me that HD "wouldn't do anything" for the Wii. So if the Wii magically had the ability to play in HD (native 720p+), no one would use it? just pl...
"In the case of 3-D, a game will spend months and millions of dollars in post production to develop an effect that, frankly, gives you a headache after 15 minutes and requires that you stare almost intently at the middle of the screen"
1) He obviously isn't a part of any group that handles financing in the game industry.
2) He obviously hasn't seen a 3D TV. "requires that you stare....at the middle of the screen" Umm....no. I experienced a 3DTV demo a...
You don't need a few more pixels to tell that the textures on the console version of Crysis 2 SUCK and that it is jaggy as a JIGSAW.

Talk about ignorance. Art is a form of expression. I have seen plenty of expression, especially in story heavy games.
It's not really hurting them that much. They've still managed to outsell the 360 WW all year long. Software is doing amazing lately, too.
Pro Skater, Turok, James Bond.....definitely good ones.
Don't forget Banjo-Kazooie, though. Well, all that has to do is return to its roots.
The Playstation division has been in the black (meaning "profitable", kids) for quite some time now.
Come meet us in the present. It's 2010 now.
Is anyone seriously waiting for this game? I thought the sheep already purchased it by now. The Ai is awful, it doesn't have basic stealth mechanics from previous installations, it's poorly optimized (How poorly do you think they would do porting it if they couldn't even get the original in HD?), and ridiculously short.
Exactly. Ai has been done so poorly/lazily in too many games, and the stealth genre especially needs more effort put into it.
Is there compression on the Ps3 version? Obviously some.
Anywhere near as bad as with the 360 version? Heck no.
