The display resolution is native 720p, but the textures and geometric res are sub-720p, which is why the game is blurry.

They need to rework the coding so that the game handles lag differently and up the servers. Otherwise, I'm going to pass because the competitive multiplayer is the only part I give a crap about in the Gears of War games.

When a game sells a million copies, THEN no one "cares" how many copies it sells. BUT when a rarity such as a hardcore Wii title that also BETTER than it's predecessor only sells 50,000, then there's something to worry about.

I'm sick of these articles. I see "jaffe" and get excited and then get disappointed when it's NOT an article revealing his next game. I overall like Jaffe, he has a passion for what he does and has created some quite fun games.
I KNEW there was a reason for the blurry-ness; Low res textures/geometric resolution.
Haters like Eurogamer and Teletext: 6 or 7/10.
All other English reviews: 8 or 9/10.

When you make the textures as awful as in their console version screenshots, it shouldn't be too difficult.
It's easy to list a bunch of trashy games and try to use it as basis of the console's power.
Alan Wake looks blurry, and that explains it; low geometry res.
