As far as I'm aware the console is now Region Free? I'm guessing MS just didn't have the manufacturing power to supply the world.

In all honesty I think both consoles will always have their short comings, and they will always have their wow moments. They'll be changed so much by the end of the generation that at the moment, I really don't think it matters, but we shall see.
