The premise of this article is a bit odd.

Software-wise Nintendo is DEAD. Mario took weeks to break 1 million, while Killzone:ShadowFall broke 2.1 million. Wiiu games on average don't seem to be breaking 1 million... and Nintendo had to lower their software forecast to almost nothing.
How much did Ghosts sell on PS4 vs Wiiu? Yeah.. thought so.
