I yungcodyne, idk if you followed the story, bit it almost actually didn't. I can't recal if it was 30fps 1080p or 60fps 900p or whatever, but they weren't reaching 60fps 1080p so Microsoft said it wasn't acceptable and sent some of their own people to work on it and make it happen (which they did).
I thought of one I thought of one!!! Diablo 3!!!
@mediate-this
I don't think Halo 1 is really a fair example, Halo 1 was made during a very different time for console games and there wasn't even online. I don't think sprinting is "the evolution" so much as it was just taking a pointer from another successful franchise. In my opinion it was a pointer that was never needed and in fact detracts from parts of what made Halo multiplayer awesome. I personally think sprinting almost makes the game feel more A...
Ah, odd that only some people are having the issue. My internet here is pretty decent but it is wireless so idk, odd.
I agree and I'll give it a chance, however, my first impression is still disappointment. I agree that games need evolution, but I wish the evolution stayed within the game's own themes rather than making an absolutely massive change like adding sprint. I think they could touch it up, improve graphics/animation, work with movement speeds and how the overall combat feels, but adding sprint juts feels out of place for Halo and it makes it feel like it's trying to be CoD. But hey, may...
I agree personally. The problem is when games have sprinting you have to make the maps larger, but when a player is sprinting they can't actively participate in combat. So you're spending a lot of time just going from A to B without any other options. If you remove sprinting you make the maps a bit smaller, but then the player is always engaged and prepared for combat. Sprinting works in games like CoD, but it's frustrating that Bungie added it in the first place to Halo Reach. It...
Not a fanboy here but I've been playing on Xbox One and I don't think I've really experienced any lag at all. That being said I've probably only played about 25 games at this point. Is this more a PS4 or PC issue? Or am I just lucky?
If they do a clever rebranding and get more triple a game support it could totally come back to life in the west.
Nope. Almost every halo used the in game engine or something similar to my knowledge. Pretty sure Halo 2 anniversary is the first one to have Blur doing the cinematic a other than Halo Wars.
Anyone know if you could still get one if you buy the console in the next week or did it have to be a day one sort of thing?
You knew what you were getting when you bought it. Everyone knows products get cheaper or have better deals and promotions later in their life cycle. You chose to buy it day one knowing exactly what it came with. Just be happy you got a year of extra fun with the console that these folks didn't, and be happy that MS is working to bring more folks to their console so youll have better online communities on XOne games.
I think MCC will probably eat into that a lot though
There is no 349 CoD bundle, it's 449 without kinect but with a 1TB hard drive.
( http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw... only one option listed, no kinect, 449
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is absolutely false, the CoD bundle is 449 alone...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my guess is dropping the resolution from 1080p to 720p would often not be enough to double the frame rate....
Deal number 1: Time Machine $24,000,000 (save 50%)
Deal number 2: Time Machine and Valiant Harts $24,000,007.50 (save 50%)
The very fact that he said "I think" before his statement suggests that it's his own opinion and speculation. You can disagree, but he definitely did not cross a line with that one.
@URNightmare, clearly you have never played a Halo game. THIS IS NOTHING LIKE HALO. Halo games are actually fun and have way better stories (except Reach, and 4 was a little off in my opinion too despite that PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE thinks 4 had an awesome story too). If people are saying it's like Halo for playstation all that shows is how ignorant people are and those people have clearly never touched, or barely touched a Halo game.
@Radler, what? Seriously? I would agree...
No it's worse than dark souls because it's constantly in your face, but it's only in your face in that you'll just be sitting there listening to dull people/robot narrate it to your face. 95% of the time exposition is a horrible way to tell stories, both in games and in film, but that's pretty much where it's at in Destiny.
The game is still completely broken for me. It takes very long to find games still, the post game menus are laggy and glitchy, and the split screen, even in Halo 2 classic online cannot maintain a solid frame rate.
