Absolutely gorgeous and at least it’s a different shade of stone, still stone though haha but beautiful nonetheless. Can’t wait to see other stuff though.

Anyone concerned about the very noticeable input lag in all of the gameplay videos? That would def be a dealbreaker for me. Love playing competitive shooters on pc and it’d be amazing to do that on the go in cafes and stuff but huge miss if there’s awful input lag.

Uses RDNA AMD chips, 1.4 teraflop gpu, it’s more or less a portable Xbox One, which is super neat and exactly where you’d expect the switch to be by now in terms of power. It’d be an even huger deal if they brought gamepass to it.

Edit: scratch that, apparently you can add 3rd party software, let’s see if MS blocks it or anything

Okay but can we please see a different environment in UE5? We get it, they can make amazing brown deserty stone, but can they make other stuff that looks amazing? (I’m sure they can but please show us)!

All these people talking about the game valuing their time I kind of disagree with. Like yeah if you want to be able to switch all your stats and character at random fine but that’s such a superficial way to experience a character class. Like trying it for an hour is so much less engrossing than being stuck as this thing. It’s a role playing game. You pick you’re role and build on it, that’s role playing.

Skyrim just had a far less beautiful world. Morrowind and Oblivion had beautiful fantasy worlds with varying climates, Skyrim all just feels like drab snowy mountains. I want to explore places I can’t in real life. Skyrim was missing that for me.

On top of that the biggest thing to me is the world just isn’t that interesting. It’s almost all entirely snowy mountains. Oblivion and morrowind these incredibly beautiful and creative fantasy worlds to explore, Skyrim just felt like earth in snowy mountains.

People always crap on this game but I thought it had a engaging story and great acting. Played all the way through with my brother and it was so cinematic we didn’t care who had the controller. Also some of the coolest, if not the coolest, werewolves I’ve seen in a game. Crazy how much flack it got for only being roughly 6 hours when most people don’t beat games that are longer than 10 hours these days. Super underrated and a shame it’s mostly forgotten.

Halo 4 writing was awful too. 343i makes Chief talk WAY too much. In 1-3 he only spoke when he needed to, usually as few words as possible. That’s what made him so bad ass in the OG trilogy.

Anyone else remember when halo played like halo? There’s a reason it’s still easier to find games in MCC than 5, why do they keep pushing it further away?

Halo Infinite has a campaign.

Unfortunately the new sale price for $70 games seems to be $60. Thanks Sony.

Those games are not even close in complexity for bits to be programmed well. By comparison fortnites bots seem to be relatively awful from my understanding.

Most exciting game announcement of the year.

Can you explain to me how 8 points of contact with the road will effect gameplay? Already feels pretty realistic. To me the way the title hyped physics I expect incredible collisions and vehicle damage, not tire to asphalt points of contact.

Not sure exactly what you mean. If you mean it’s written into a corner as in it literally has nowhere to go, then I disagree. If you mean it’s written into a corner as in the writers have gotten lazy and just write cliches and poor dialogue, then I agree. A good writer could create a million new stories in this universe, it’s so vast. I was thinking of writing a Halo game spec script myself but seems like it’s probably pointless.

Cyberpunk was probably far more ambitious than their newer plans. Expect stuff like the Far Cry copy and paste games in the future, that’s my guess.

Difference is No Mans Sky devs almost immediately seemed remorseful and apologized. I think it was within a month even (please correct me if I’m wrong). CD Project Red has yet to imply whatsoever that they care about fixing the game. They’re already talking about paid DLC, it’s a joke and incredibly disappointing. The game we were promised looked absolutely incredible. The game we got wasn’t revolutionary at all, it has a cool map/city but that seems to be almost all they got right.

For real. The developers literally said “we knew when we took over we’d have to make it our own.” Like wtf, that’s the opposite of the idea. You’re taking over a beloved franchise not making a new IP. Granted Bungie started the downward trend with Reach IMO. Started to feel more like CoD and other games around reach then got worse with 343i.

The real issue is the piss poor writing of his character these days. He talks too much. Look at 1-3 at how he only spoke when he needed to, short lines, now he just goes on and on rambling.
