I think micro-transactions are terrible for gamers but great for the companies.
Taking a look at my League of Legends account is proof in itself.

I think this is still the early stages, I cant wait to see how the integrate the apps with games in the future.

I enjoyed the beginning of Despicable me, but its the constant incentive for me to buy added extras that annoyed me.
That is what I hate at the moment about android games, its the constant advertising of other games/products that puts me off.
Keep it in the background but don't remind me about it every time my character dies in the game.

I really don't enjoy mobile gaming. I mean temple run, plants vs zombies, fruit ninja and even angry birds didn't tickle my fancy.
I can see how people can enjoy them, its just not my cup of tea.
I loved GTA San Andreas, I think I'll wait to get it on my android device.
