I agreed with most of the article until it said becoming the Apple of Video games. That's not a proud achievement, that's more of an insult. Apple doesn't provide the best hardware on a technical level, as a matter of fact their hardware in their phone and macbooks are years behind the competition.

It's funny how people downplay Twin Snakes as being unrealistic as all of the Metal Gear Solid games have supernatural elements to them. The Twin Snakes was a great game, as well as the entire Metal Gear Solid series. Just because it's popular to hate something, doesn't mean it's justified.

Hsu Hao and Drahmin have been confirmed to not be in the game by Ed Boon himself. Also he said that just because a character appears in the comics doesn't mean they will be in the game. Mavado is not coming either, same for Meat and Skarlet. If anything it's probably Fujin and Tanya.

Agreed. There is no Alice in the games at all, and it just ended up being about as bad as Michael Bay could have done it, with this "character of the week" formula they have shoehorned into each sequel. They made Barry pathetic, and the same could be said with Chris and Alice. The sad thing is the majority of the audience that likes the movies has never played a Resident Evil game, and asks which game Alice is in.
I couldn't even call the movies guilty pleasures...

Batman won't work. The reason MK vs DC was rated T was because DC won't allow their heroes to be damaged in the same degree the MK cast can.
Been a hardcore fan since MK1 and I wouldn't advise buying these. The coarse design looks like it belongs in Batman Beyond rather than Mortal Kombat, and there isn't a fightstick or any additional goodies. This might be the worst collectors edition they have ever made for an MK game.
