79% of sales on PS5. Now people will say what about digital sales which will be higher etc etc.The facts as they stand is that certain console owners do not buy games holding out hope that said games will release on a service. In the words of their own head, said service cannabilizes their own game sales. And then these clowns want to cry foul when publishers don’t want to release games on that platform. What a shitty position to be in.

I would love to see how they handle the world map dynamics or if it will move from town to town sequentially. Remake was limited to Midgar but I’m not worried as the first game essentially embodies how I imagined FF7 to be while first playing the original oh so many years ago.

I agree with you. Sony built their success on single player story driven games and this direction will definitely reduce those if successful. This is a sign of what happens when Sony has absolutely no competition in their space. MS needs to step up for ALL our sakes. And Sony needs to consider a new CEO for next gen, Jim Ryan served his purpose well but we need somebody with Layden’s outlook going forward.

All those studios you listed, Sony fostered them over time and assisted them. Their acquisition became a process. Microsoft has contributed jack to the industry. They have in fact robbed the industry and us from RARE, Arkane and others who were once upon a time and even recently competent development houses.
Nothing better than seeing that on a kid's face. Takes me back to when my dad got me my consoles.

Thank you. A ton of FFXIII articles recently. Most of the people who like this game are not old enough to have played 4 to 9. Even 10 and 12 are vastly superior to this game. That being said a remaster would then make all the FF titles available on the PS platform.
The only mainline title I played through only once.
Makes decent exclusives, keep them coming at regular intervals and sell consoles. A simple example of positive correlation.
Took off from work for the 22nd with a couple of friends. We heading to our local brick and mortar to collect and then we going to head to one of our houses to watch a two or three hour play and chill.
