Actually, when I first heard about stick of truth, I was dissapointed that it wasnt a 3d open world RPG. Then after playing it, I noticed that sticking to 2D is the best thing to do.
Love FFVIII. Would be brilliant if they decided to make a sequel or spin off.
Could just imagine FFVIII sequel made by platinum games, fast paced gunblade/magic/summoning action would be amazing.

yeah, understand that that it was a film grain effect. my eyes just doesnt adapt to games that are dark.
its either bad tv contrast, bad lighting in game or my colour deficiency played a part in it. or all 3.
anyway, its a game i would love to enjoy, but sadly i could t.
only finished act 1 and no where near finishing all side ops and missions so i can only say what i experience so far.
boss battles were ok. metal gear zoe edition was pretty fun, skulls were ok.
cutscenes and codec. didnt seem like it had enough cutscenes, codec became tapes and that seemed like it was lacking as well unless i am missing loads.
characters? i liked them, but it feels like no one had any actual screentime.

i think if it has 7 years without next gen released plus minimum 3 yrs before production stops then it has a really good chance of doing crazy sales. however, technology and pc gaming is growing so quick, so its really hard to tell. i wouldnt be surprised if a ps4 got a hardware upgrade mid cycle. something similar to 3ds.
im not sure if i am a sony fanboy or mot, but i never really liked playing on other consoles or pc.
well if it sold 30mil and xbone sold 100mil, then xbone will probably get more exclusives.
more consoles you sold, the more games you can make and you could afford to fund games that you didnt want to before because of risks.
only played parts of ps3 version. didnt like it be ause it was too dark, could barely see anything.
dont mind giving it another go though.
im not expecting super good emulation, but hopefully we have choice to upres, widescreen support, aa, improve framerate. whatever pc emulation has.
i know its not a super powerful pc, but its made by sony and they should have 100% knowledge of the ps2. those extra things may make the game run worse, but if we have the option to choose whatever and customise then why not?
i dont have a good pc, so just thinking about ffxii 1080p just makes my mouth water.

but yeah, sony japan is pretty big. think they work on lots of projects at the same time, but they also outsource many stuff.
there are many ps2 gamers who bought 360 then xbone.
if the did some kind of kingdom heart ultimate collection for the ps4. i would probably get that. wouldnt mind some nice collectors edition.
well all these games were released in the span of almost 10 years. you would probably get bored playing them one after another
storyline is kinda confusing, but you dont have to understand every bit of it.
sadly no. seems like square enix didnt think about making next gen versions when porting those games to ps3. or maybe they already have and will release it later to milk some more money =D.
i personally dont mind since i want all the bigger games on my ps4.
xbone is just doing a lot worse worldwide then anyone imagined. also seems its clear which system is stronger unlike last gen where it was debatable.
i wont be aurprised to see square enix making exclusives again.
