They said a ps+ version. A stripped down version. I probably think that if it did get released at launch we would have got more content. But at this moment in time it's stupid for Sony to give away so much content.
I think it's the minimal Sony can giveaway and keep ps+ subscribers happy that they didn't break their promise. I do hope that's not the only igc we getting that month though.
We all knew this game would have been a starter pack. People who thought Sony would give away a game days for free 1 year after ps4 being released is crazy. I mean if it was at launch, maybe we get a less stripped down version to push ps4 sales and ps+. But Ps4 is successful enough atm and they don't need to throw away money
I am just saying that if the market for gaming was low, or if other competitor's ruled that market. Was just giving an if situation. I mean Oculus could be super success in another industry. Would people still class that as a success?
O know all we could do right now is predict and pull numbers out of thin air, but 5 years concentrating on gaming sounds reasonable from what you said.

I do know how it works. They get paid a certain amount. Does not mean that they get enough money paid back to them. They could potentially earn more but due to ps+ it kinda capped their revenue. Also their next releases may not get as good reception as it did for ps+ since some people want it for free. Not saying that they can't do it, just saying it's going to be interesting to see how it will all work and if it will attract regular fps gamers.
I don't think the lol cap will matter much since it seems more of a weapon/equipment based game.
It will probably have different categories for different level of equipment in future updates.
I'm hoping someone like me who is not an expert or that good at fps to be able to enjoy this...
Tbh, Sony could easily release this for Pc aswell. It really depends if Sony wants to make this exclusive or for everything.
They are both practically the same thing. So now it depends on which one has better spec or which one gets the price +specs right to hit the sweetspot perfect for the buyers.
I would also like to add that since Facebook bought company for 2billion, they are definitely going to aim more than the gaming audience, would Oculus still class...

Off topic: will we get any big titles on ps4 like we did for vita and ps3 for igc? Seems like this generation will have a bigger chunk of subscribers which may put off publisher's.
Most likely, it's not a typical fps with a lobby system. This game will probably be something similar to monster hunter and mmorpgs.

1st year or 2 its ok. Though I would like to say that HD ports are normally outsourced and/or given to small teams. It doesn't really affect their next game.
Though I do like to say that the team behind TLOU said that they went onto PS4 straight after the game was released. I'm just wondering how many members of the team moved onto the PS4 version if any.
TBH, it doesn't really hurt for a big game to release a HD port. Some gamers missed the original and may give them an excuse to buy the HD port.
Publishers also spend so much money on producing the game it onl cost a little to port it over and make a little more money.
I understand where you are coming from, but lots of consoles start out with lots of ports, happens every gen.

So... What's the point of having levels at all if you can max level in hours? Seem's weird, maybe the point of leveling is to somehow stop alt accounts? not sure why the real reason is until the game comes out.
Thinking about it most MMORPG's seem pointless to have leveling since most people just race to max level and then enjoy end game content. I mean most games concentrate on end game content and make the journey to max lvl ridiculously boring.

Only played half of ME on my outdated laptop which was close(?) to PS3/360 specs. Was enjoyable.
