The reason why MS is higher in the charts is Price, Customer Service, they did not wait for an HD DVD to shove in their console, and the biggest reason was the way they handled RROD. If you search the net you can find the worlds largest screens. I think 108" is the current record with a price tag of $165,000. But if you go to any store, Best Buy, Sears, Tweeter (gone now), Circuit City (soon to be gone), Costco, BJs, or any store that sells TVs, you are hard pressed to find a Plasma or LCD over 65". If they released games on PS3 then there would be no piracy. They have games on the PSP. It appears as though they only release on platforms where hackers are rampart.
As far as I can see no game company has reduced the cost of the PS3 software so I guess that no one got his memo on price reduction with out piracy. It is a good idea. If software was cheaper on PS3 then there would be more software movement.
It's tempting. Especialy if your waiting till April for a price cut. If you wait you would most likely save $100, so a $75 savings is a good deal at this time.

I have to disagree. Stories like this are great. Not for Sony's loss or MS's loss, but the posts that it collects. If you don't want to listen to it then ignore it. I have never had RRoD. I want a Jasper since my warranty is up and I want to ensure that I can still play all of my games going forward. It would also be nice to have a couple of systems in the house for local multi-player.

This looks about as much fun as the video crap that they display in the malls that the kids jump on and step over.
I can understand that it would not be in the best interest for retailers current stock of 360s, but it would be in MS's best interest to put a Jasper sticker on the boxes. It would definitely boost sales. I'm waiting till summer to get another 360. My 3 yr warranty is up and I want the Jasper chipset.
