Why not list your sources? What sites are you using to get your info? A google of both of your statements returns squat. I'm just wondering what set you off to write your story.
I got my PS3 on e-bay for $300. I wanted a 60GB and since it was about the same price as what I was expecting the 80GB to be in April, why wait. I'm sensing some hostility here. I was only saying that of the three systems it's has the longest load times for games and movies. As far as streaming it flies, no issues. I'm not bashing the PS3 I was just wondering if others with 2 or more are noticing the same long loads.
I have the 60GB unit. Which system are you using?
So true. I just got a PS3 and now I have all three consoles. The PS3 is by far the slowest of the three. What is up with the load times? It's a good BR player. It loads a BR a little slower than the HD player I have, and it makes me think why is PS3 so slow? I'm still new to it so I will have to tinker some more with it. But the PS2 was and still is a good system. It's much faster than the PS3. LOL...

Those were different times. You are going to see people start to hold on to their money tighter. I have the cash in hand to purchase a PS3, but why buy one now when the possibility looms that a price cut could get me a PS3 and a PSP at a discount. Smart shoppers will wait. Sony needs to cut it's price.
Once Sony drops the price MS will follow suite.

Have you seen Sony's stock lately? Welcome to the sub $20 Sony. Price reduction in the future? Make the hard call and start selling more hardware. While your at it throw in BC...
I think you will see more D&B type of arcades. They are more of a family atmosphere than your typical arcade. Though recession could hurt them as well.
We'll have to agree to disagree. But you should know that MS is never afraid of a lawsuit. They are use to it. Countries sue them all the time. The fact that they stepped up and offered a 3yr warrantee without going to court is what counts, they did the right thing.
As soon as Sony lowers the price by $100 or introduces BC then I will get one.
