I still have the Alpha Anthology for PS2, but I just might buy this for the extra characters.
All I need now is Capcom vs Snk 2 and SFIII re-release with online (and maybe some sprite filters cause CvS2 looks blocky on LCD TVs).

LOL, "cheeking". Didn't notice that one. I have my laptop connected to my CRT TV cause I was playing SFIII on it. It's horrible for reading or typing but oh well, its funny though. LOL.
I will definitely be cheeking this game out. But until then, all this press for the game has suddenly given me the urge to see the movie again.

The GC was actually a very good console with a lot of classic titles. I'm glad I still have Twin Sankes, don't know why everyone hates on it, it was a good game regardless of all the over the top bull.
Resident Evil remake actually had very good graphics, cant even play the original anymore without comparing it (but I still play the original too).
My Soul Calibur II with Link, Rogue Leader and Viewtiful Joe are among my favoritestoo. Oh and Mteroid Prime :).

I still play my Dreamcast very often, especially Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs SNK 2, Crazy Taxi, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Code Veronica (ah... the good old days of Resident Evil) and Ikuruga.

Me? Personally I'm a fighting game player more than a shooter, which I think has become an overpopulated genre like fighting games in the 90s...

At the end of the day, the best graphics come down to what you really prefer, whether it's cartoony, realistic, or 2D, It all depends on the players preference. For me I agree with the video because I think UC2 was the most stunning and technically impressive (although I'm digging that Muramasa art style a lot!!!!).
Well you're right, it was close between the two. But the differences here are noticeable: while the Kratos model looks stunningly close to CG, the backgrounds lack the textures and polish of UC2, which has CG like character models and backgrounds.
But hey who knows, God of War is still a long way from being released, so it might even surpass UC2 when it does.
And just what makes you think that the Splinter Cell footage was from Xbox360? This is Microsoft were talking about here, they could have just used a high end PC to show off those graphics (same with Alan Wake). Last I remember an 360 controller could be hooked up to a PC, making it look like you were playing it on the console. Even then, it looks good, but not that good.
How did the numbers at the end add up too that? Seriously GT, learn some math.
Anyways, still haven't played the game but it looks fun, I'll give it a try sooner or later. It looks like it plays very differently from infamous, which is already a very addictive game in my opinion.
Hope its as good as they say it is when I play it cause the carnage in this game looks awesome.

Japanese voice acting is the only way to play this, english dub fails miserably and would only ruin the experience with horrible voice acting (I'm looking at you CAPCOM... ugh).

And by the way, Snake doesn't save the world by himself all the time (Raiden, Gray Fox, Meryl and Otacon say hi), and everytime he does he always goes through hell and back doing so enduring physical and emotional pain.
Again... play the games! Don't let someone else ruin what is one of the greatest gaming experience ever.

Put a stop to the fanboyism and be a real gamer. I don't think Kojima will let someone ruin his baby, he'll oversee the project and make sure that it isn't a bad game.
