i had this same problem after the update. here's how i solved it
1)with the console off, press the reset button on the back of the controller (ur gonna need a pen or toothpick)
2)plug it via usb
3)turn the console on manually pressing the button on the console
4)when u see the controller charging, press the ps button to sync when u see the ps3 logo or after it
5)unplug (should sync now)
this worked 4 me, hope it works for someone else having t...

everybody likes free stuff, but i have to agree with panda. the problem is that if piracy keeps growing at the rate it is, pretty much most of the studios we currently love are gonna have to close up because of it and the people that worked hard to bring us the games will end up without a job.
i miss the days when i could brag about pc exclusive titles, but now thanks to pirates, we hardly get a handful of exclusive titles.

lol... u beat me to it, i remember paying that much on cartridge games (snes and n64), thank god optical discs came along to lower the prices...
but those snes games sure were fun :P
in microsoft's case, bringing out consoles faster also means more faulty hardware. nintendo and sony combined don't have nearly enough problems as the 360's hardware does...

All is ask is that the becomes more offensive fighter, cause the amount of turtles and spammers online is pretty annoying, until they come face to face with my Bison and get destroyed for using those scrub tactics :P.

This is an example of what u do: "Splinter Cell for PS3!!!!", which u completely made up. Now if it happens u are gonna be saying "i told u blah,blah, blah", if it does not u wont even mention it again. Anyone can say its coming or its confirmed, just because they fell like saying it, like u say u "confirmed" the ps3 slim and facebook for 360, but plenty of websites already said that a million times before, and your GTAV exclusive to PS3 stor...
In my opinion, the original version is much more fun than this one...
I'll buy it, I support hardcore games for the Wii...
