To tell you the truth I never played the original but the Wii version is an excellent game.
I hope they will make a sequel.
They "expect" because they are already familiar with this market and how the things works . I never saw they making a mistake with predictions.
About the numbers, vgchartz is tracking sales from gamestop, amazon etc.
Because talk about how bad a Wii game can sell is the new trend but if you make some search, you will see A LOT of HD games selling poorly (try Bionic Commando, Wolfenstein etc).
MadWorld sold better than Bionic Commando, but did you saw Capcom complaining about the sales for Bionic Commando?
The Conduit sold better than Wolfenstein but did you saw Activision complaining?

Recent sales? Recent games? Don't try to change the facts. Silent Hill never was as popular as Resident Evil and it BOMBED on the PS3 too. It's not the Wii's fault, the problem is that Silent Hill isn't popular.
As for Crystal Berears, this game changed the Crystal Chronicles series, it's just a mediocre action game full of bugs.

He is probably talking about the sales, so of course the DS performs better. Speaking about games, it's up to your tastes. I have both handhelds but I prefer my DS.
PSP is an incredible handheld but it has a lot of untapped potential.
And again... everyone will bash the Wii but nobody will talk about the sales of Silent Hill Homecoming for the PS3

I tried to play Lunar on my ps1 and I hated this game. Yes, this is a good game but it's just not for me.
Actually, I have an x360. I just think that complain about this game not coming for HD consoles is childish. HD consoles has a lot of games, can't the Wii have his exclusives?
Stop being so selfish, if you want to play this game buy a Wii just like Wii owners have to buy an HD console in order to play FFXIII.

Lol, there are alot of games for HD consoles that the Wii won't have and Wii owners aren't complaining but look at how angry the HD only owners are because of one title. Very funny, just like Muramasa.

No, it's not like GTA Chinatown Wars. Knight in the Nightmare (DS) has an innovative and very complex gameplay. Without this gameplay KIN PSP will be just a generic strategy game.
Yes, it has more graphics but no games (final fantasy XIII, UFC 2009, Tiger Woods 10, Bayonetta etc etc). The best racing simulator for PC is NFS Shift, the PS3 will have Gran Turismo 5 and x360 already has Forza 3.
