If they were banned they won't be able to play this demo, and they won't be able to use most of the features on this game or any other game with the online function. They will need to buy another x360 and the original copy of the game, and this title (SC: Conviction) has a lot of good online functions. You won't lose anything playing the pirated version on your PC.

If you play pirated games you can't play online, which is a big deal, and that's why piracy isn't a huge problem for the x360.

Huge difference my a**. Let's talk like real gamers and realize that the difference is MINIMAL while you play the game, you can buy the game in any of the consoles and enjoy it without any problems, same with Bayonetta, the ps3 version is NOT very different from the x360 version.
