The interviewer said that.

Interviewer:"Every year someone looks at the slate of upcoming games and says, "It's the Year of the PlayStation 3" without fail."

Tretton's response:"I love that. If we say it, people are like, "Of course you're saying that." If other people say it, that's a good thing. I'd much rather quote other people saying that, than say it ourselves."

I would have put it with fifa and god of war instead of madden and resident evil

That means 8 languages require 5GB, meaning each language requires around 625MB. Since the American version takes up 35GB with only one language that means that around 34GB of the game is game data, since there is no cgi. Now THAT is impressive, and it also means that dvd could not come anywhere near this, much harder to compress game data without ruining it.

When you consider that none of them are out in spring lol, only splinter cell and supreme commander are out in spring and as others point out they are multiplat.

I'll buy it at a high price

Great score can't wait for this game. Why is everyone disagreeing with Bungie even though he made a good comment? You don't have to give him bubbles but now it just looks like the site hates god of war... We'll be killed!

He said the trey because that's what some guy on youtube calls the ps3, and apparently he has a big following in "the trey brotherhood"

As soon as pirates find a way around it it will only be the people buying the game that are affected

Even if I could play them on pc(can't right now, something wrong with the fan or something so no heavy work) I wouldn't. To someone like me, console graphics are all that matters, and console exclusives are all that matters.

I can't believe anyone actually thinks there is a timeline... Nintendo even said there wasn't. But if you want to try and find a way in which they might possibly be related, more power to you, just know that you'll never find the one true timeline as someone else will have their own.

But damn people are blinded by it :/ Nowhere near Killzone's level.

I just found it funny, maybe the 360 version isn't done yet or the guy didn't know he had to take pictures of both and just shopped it at the last minute. Either way people are definitely overreacting.

Although there is a snowballs chance in hell of that happening since it is so easy and cheap to keep remaking the same games over and over, yet they sell millions.

You think fanboy comments are terrible unless IGN makes one? Yes fanboys are bad and you should dislike fanboyism from any source, including IGN. The article should have said "Why I believe Mass Effect 2 is better than Uncharted 2". No one would have had a problem with it. It's his opinion. I didn't care for how he basically thought it was better because it was an rpg btw, but I wouldn't have minded if he hadn't been fanboyish about it. Pick your battles more carefully, this was ent...

I agree with you there is nothing different, but that's the problem. When respected publications like IGN start spewing fanboy propaganda it turns into a whole new ball game. Ps3 fanboys feel betrayed right now, since ign shouldn't be getting involved and "siding" the 360 fanboys. It gives the 360 fanboys a chance to look rational by saying how they agree and ps3 fanboys are overreacting, but how do you think 360 fanboys would react if IGN made an article called "Infamous is mu...

I would've bought it the day after I played the demo if the game was out(Decemeber sometime I think I played the demo), but now that a lot of games are coming I'm not sure if I'll get it, because I want ff13 and gow3 and heavy rain. It might have to be a rental :(

You guys really hate square enix that much? I really think it's only the business side that has changed, they are influencing development too much now and interfering with creative vision because they think they know best, calling the developers "worthless fcuks" is uncalled for.

I can't name anyone on that team besides kitase and you expect the no-names to tell their boss to fcuk off and just leave? They aren't famous enough to ensure a job all they'd be doing is putti...

IGN UK - "Sadly, aside from its excellent combat system, Dante’s Inferno misses the mark in almost every way."

IGN - "Unfortunately, some derivative combat sequences and a shallow combo system prevent the title from becoming a truly great experience."
