360 fans readily take this excuse but when prototype 360 outsold ps3 prototype it was a victory, now ps3 fans in here are claiming victory and forget about prototype...
But the obvious answer is canada has a higher minimum wage. If you get paid more, expect to pay more. If that isn't what's going on, then maybe infrastructure is worse in canada and transport costs more. The point is you can't directly compare prices like that, there are different circumstances. It's like asking why do africans only have to pay 10 cents for bread or something.
But the crime scene investigations look to be essentially the same so it isn't the end of the world.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't hate the look(although the psp go is much nicer without it, it doesn't look that bad with it), but the weight it adds would defeat the purpose of removing the damn umd drive.
Every fanboy has passed judgement on it. 360 fanboys are saying oh yah the best ting evuuuuurrrr and ps3 fanboys are saying eyetoy ripzzzooorr. I won't judge it until I've seen it but all I know so far is we've seen a faked demo and basically know nothing about it besides it is a camera which puts you on the screen.
But, as he said, I'd be one of those people unable to accept controlling a car with a pretend steering wheel. There would just be no feedback I mean just picture it... He wants to make milo? Is that all developers think of when they see it, get creative at least come on.
Edit: Good comment xiphos, but do you really think he sold out? I never played metal gear solid(except rented number 4 for a night but didnt beat it before it was returned) but he seems highly respected so it wo...

It is unmatched technically, with only killzone 2 giving it any competition whatsoever.

The game is just too fckin short... The only reason fanboys are fighting is because it is halo. Repackage modern warfare with the same multiplayer but a repetitive 5 hour campaign thrown in and would you give it a 9 again?
Sony has way more studios than ms so in the way of exclusives we can hope for something from rare or another timed exclusive jrpg(which wouldn't work because I'm sure the Japanese see the pattern with these "exclusives" now...)
But the lighting is weird in the pes ones
Although I wouldn't be as harsh, getting 9s is commonplace now and there are at least 20 games per year getting 9s, it devalues the system, although I would add a point or so to each of your scores there :)

@above That's because the ps3 is being sold at below it's value, and the psp go is portable and does a lot. You can get a laptop for 500 that does half of what a desktop does for 300. It is worth the money, regardless of the amazing value of the ps3. An ipod tou...

The written review clears up why the .5 was dropped, although it was a little harsh.
They dropped the score by .5 because there wasn't a tutorial for stealth, which is pretty self explanatory... Don't be seen! From the video review it looks like they just chickened out of giving it a 10, or they gave halo odst a 10 and didn't want this 10 to take away from it. Either way this is better than resistance 2 and gears 2.
Big fan of football manager and total war, I'll be getting this game now since I've heard good things and the developers are supporting it.
EVERYBODY knows fanboys are there, just don't let them bother you, pick the articles you have an interest in, ignore them and please don't become one of those people who moans about fanboys in every article, they are even more annoying than the fanboys themselves since the fanboys are sometimes very funny
