"I Didn’t Take Your Money For South America Vacation”

"I didn't hack the PS3 so people could pirate games"

"I didn't create a PSN account, so you can't sue me in California"

Anyone who supports this guy deserves to feel like a fool.

5 person customizable co-op? Did I read that right? Incredible!!!

All my other games are getting the boot when this comes out.

I'm excited for it. Everything I've seen so far in videos looks good. As long as there isn't any lag, it'll be very good.

"This is generally known as ‘being caught with your pants down’."

Next he's going to be taking it in the rear from Sony, lol.

For someone so smart, he's pretty dumb. You'd think he'd be able to cover his tracks better and know what he can/can't lie about.

What they need to fix is the lag, hit detection, and invisible walls! 1.06 helped but the game still needs work.

What is he talking about? SOCOM 4 is running the Uncharted 2 engine.

The COD engine can be updated to do those things, but that would be counter productive, now wouldn't it. Treyarch = garbage developers.

Bye bye Activision/COD

Hello Battlefield 3

Usually we see large installs on the PS3 when a multiplat developer ports over a game from 360 or PC, and most of these games have issues on the PS3.

They might be doing this because I remember them saying that they developed the CryEngine 3 so that developers can develop on the PC and have the code generated for the 360 and PS3 automatically.

This isn't a good sign. I'm skipping this and waiting for SOCOM.

You will probably be able to save your game data to the cloud and just delete them on the card before selling to Gamestop.

If the new media for the games is as fast as traditional RAM, then this is a brilliant idea. Developers can decide how much memory they need by using different cards for their games. Since the game will be stored on these fast access cards, no RAM is needed other than the RAM on the GPU.

As far as storing things like movies, music, etc., the article talks about some sort of external storage. I hope it's just a standard flash media card. Otherwise, I think a lot of peo...

I am so tired of Activision and the way they treat their games. They've made insane profits on COD but fail to properly support the games after release and fail to put up dedicated servers. Let's not talk about how they over-exploited Guitar Hero and now they've just abandoned it.

I'm just glad for all the alternatives coming out, especially Battlefield 3. I hope all the other publishers/developers are learning from Activision's mistakes.

I wonder if you can run 2 of these in a CrossFire configuration, basically having the power of 4 cards fit into two slots. I wouldn't do it because of the heat as well as the power requirements, but it would have some incredible performance.

I guess the advantage of this card is for people who only have one PCIe slot on their motherboard or for people who want to increase the density of GPUs/slot in their PC. Othewise it sounds better to CrossFire the 6970's separa...

Sorry, not 64-bit. 32-bit only.

What handheld PC do you know of that has a 64-bit quad-core RISC CPU (capable of 2GHz), a powerful GPU (for its size), a touch screen, built-in 3G modem, and costs $300-$400? Netbooks are the only PC's in this price range and aren't nearly as powerful. The price is low because of the quantity they expect to sell.

I would normally agree with you since I don't feel Linux works that great on most consoles. I just think it would work really well with the NGP assumi...

I don't understand why they don't just have the PSP2 internals in this. They consider it a game console by giving it the "Playstation Certified" stamp but they're making it less powerful than the PSP2 by putting in the Tegra 2, which is only a dual-core ARM running at a slower clock speed, and they want to charge twice as much.

So in the portable games market, Sony will have 3 devices (PSP2, Tablet, and Xperia Play) with 3 different CPU's (All ARM...

Very well written article (rare these days)! I've given up on COD/Activision so I'm dying for KZ3 to come out. I liked KZ2 and KZ3 sounds incredible. I don't think I've read a single bad review of the demo. Looks like Guerrilla didn't leave a thing for anyone to complain about!

You could increase your Internet service to 500Mbps and it won't make your PSN downloads any faster. It all depends on how busy the PSN servers are on the day you are downloading. When I download games on days other than the day the PSN is updated, I get close to my maximum download speed (30Mbps). If you download on a busy day, your download will go slow because Sony only has so much upload bandwidth for everyone. Also, some people don't understand that when you download somethin...
