Welcome to the 90s?
So play Alien Sw... No wait, this one is actually good. But yeah, how DOES it hold up to AS and/or L4D?
It's fascinating how this subgenre has suddenly exploded.
Speaking of, we need to play more of that when we have time. Maybe with more TGV people?
So, play Alien Swarm instead?
Nice supplement on RB3. I wasn't quite grabbed by the LA Noire trailers as you guys, but the previews I've read today made me much more optimistic.
Man, Activision are so milking the Carl franchise.
I actually kinda like his latest one: http://www.destructoid.com/...
Counter-trolling > trolling.
This one was fun to do. Reviewing is always an interesting topic.
God, hate when puzzle games make you throw shit around.
I've been staving off the beckoning call of this game due to saving money and waiting for Obsidian/the community to patch it up, but I WILL play it at some point.
Yeah, since it's our first episode, we would love to get feedback on this.
Hm, I still wasn't convinced by the demo, but with such glowing reviews, I might give it a shot after all.
Disappointing that Sega apparently can never get this right. =/
Like I say in the actual review, The battle system gets to be a little too simple, but I found the game enjoyable from hour 1, so maybe it's just not for you? I had a lot of fun with it, though.
I'm usually not a fan of the "you're playing it wrong" approach, as that usually lies in how well the game itself teaches you to play it, but in this case it seems it's warranted, based on both misconceptions of both game and genre expectations.
I was excited for the first one, but after hearing everything that was said about that one, I got excited about this one instead. \o/
Success.
So pure deja vu/nostalgia play, then?
It is, but it's also really rewarding.
There are many nods to both Splosion Man and the Maw, and there is a bunch of Twisted Pixel signature songs, including the amazing stat song. I do recommend at least giving the trial a try.
Too bad I missed it, I really like this weeks topic.
