You can't buy quality 1st party studios that sony owns, it takes decades to perfect their 1st party craft. No 3rd party studio MS can buy could ever match the quality of sonys 1st party. no matter how much money they burn.

This is the problem with game pass, xbox players expect every new release to be on game pass day 1 or few months down killing the sales. Sony does it right with ps plus extra, at 99 a year its a steal.

If games don't sell on xbox it's not sonys fault they make their games exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo.Phil killed Xbox game sales with game pass, sonys version of plus is way better than game pass and its also better for developers.
I love the narrative that it's sonys fault xbox has no exclusives, it's not sony fault that in 2013 phil Spencer himself closed down 90% of xbox first part studios. Not sony fault that xbox 1st party has not put out a quality game like last of us, god of war etc. Regardless, let them get Activision and watched Microsoft destroy it to the ground like they did rare and so many other developers.
Sony keeping on dominating is great for the industry. We don't need Microsoft subscription driven water down money grabbing online all the time games being the norm. All my gaming money goes to sony.

Xbox has seemingly copied the way ps plus extra and Premium are updated, game pass used to have 2 drops a month, now its only one like ps plus.
It does, the xbox one version runs and looks better on series s than the xbox series version.

Switch is handheld, xbox and sony don't even consider them competition.
What else is new? Ps5 is the only next gen console that feels and looks next gen, from the games to the controllers. When your gaming competition xbox main exclusives look like ps2/xbox games like pediment, hifi rush, age of empires 2, it's easy to see why ps5 is #1 by a mile.
