Not even worth the debate, PlayStation 1st party studios are the best in the industry, rockstar is as close as you can come. PlayStation 1st party studios blows away every xbox st 1st party studio out the water.
I guess its back to spamming the same 6 exclusives, hellblade, starfield, fable, avored, state of decay, perfect dark, meme they have been spamming the last 4 years.

3rd is best
As usual 3rd party, pc, windows carried gamepass and xbox to a small profit. Nothing that xbox 1st party puts out look anywhere near next gen or having any kind of budget, just cheap ps2 looking games like age of empires, pentiment, hifi rush and Xbox One looking redfall.
Then why are more and more 3rd party developers skipping xbox and are now supporting switch and ps5 much more? Is it sonys fault?
Atomic Heart, as well as A plague tale Requiem are on PlayStation, im sure its the sole reason both games made a profit, if them 2 were only xbox, we would be reading how both games massively undersold and most likely killed both franchises. Im not even trolling, there's many articles about xbox exclusives from 3rd parties launching on gamepass and selling horribly.

Yet another low effort exclusive, can you blame them when they get paid the same if the game is good or not. This is what we call the long term game pass filler effect, it will affect every 1st party effort within the xbox developers family.
time for xbox fans to dig up red dead 2 for xbox x and compare it to this. Its still xbox benchmark game. This blows that away.
You can't buy quality 1st party studios that sony owns, it takes decades to perfect their 1st party craft. No 3rd party studio MS can buy could ever match the quality of sonys 1st party. no matter how much money they burn.
What's really sucky for xbox is they have trained their dwindling fan base to not buy games, wait it out and that 3rd party game will be on game pass. I predict many 3rd parties will stop making games for xbox in the near future. Its not worth ...
This is the problem with game pass, xbox players expect every new release to be on game pass day 1 or few months down killing the sales. Sony does it right with ps plus extra, at 99 a year its a steal.

If games don't sell on xbox it's not sonys fault they make their games exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo.Phil killed Xbox game sales with game pass, sonys version of plus is way better than game pass and its also better for developers.
I love the narrative that it's sonys fault xbox has no exclusives, it's not sony fault that in 2013 phil Spencer himself closed down 90% of xbox first part studios. Not sony fault that xbox 1st party has not put out a quality game like last of us, god of war etc. Regardless, let them get Activision and watched Microsoft destroy it to the ground like they did rare and so many other developers.
