I think Epic wanted full control over the franchise and waited until what ever agreement they had with MS expired.This remastered edition is just being created to bring in more funds and expand platforms.Epic could now create sequels and keep all the profit made to themselves.
Epic made the right choice of going multi with the remastered edition.It could lead to a sequel being made much sooner.
The community is going to be small on Xbox One if MS doesn't allow cross play between Xbox and PC
NBA Live is going to be terrible in terms of sales every yr until EA hires some better talent

Alan Wake did poor at full retail and only sold good once it hit bargain bin prices on 360 and cheap steam

if Sunset did real good then MS and Insomniac would have numbers posted that shows the data.Its going to sell good now that's its bargain bin
I doubt many Xbox fans are going to support the game just look at how bad Alan Wake and Sunset have done
So you really think the higher ups/share holders at MS don't care about being outsold by a huge margin?why do you think X1 dropped to 350/had all of of those 299 deals in 2014 it was due to not performing well..Its always going to be about sales for investors in any company and that's fact.MS 100% cares about sales being as they were quick to brag how much software and consoles 360 sold last gen.
I have no doubt about Quantum Break being a quality experience being as Remedy are top notch
The ship on X1 closing the gap has sailed away and sunk along time ago.MS should just focus giving their fans quality software and not screwing up the next time around by cutting back on hardware performance for useless gimmicks.

Its all PR non sense and SE won't ever admit in public that the deal was a total mistake.The copies sold aren't really impressive because if they were SE would have released a report with sales data claiming success.TR will move units but at a price lower than full retail which dips into profit made..There is no way they are going to be able to sell TR for $60 to PS4 owners next year
I hope SE doesn't come out and complain about lack of sales being as they are 100% to blame..Its always the studios that take the hit regardless of publishers making bad decisions.
The top exclusives coming to X1 next year are Scalebound& Quantum Break in my opinion.I hope MS does allow Swery to continue D4.
