Damn, I had no idea New World was even still going!
The last "Ultimate Edition" I bought was Dark Souls II for $120; I thought that was a fair price for what I got. Dark Souls III came out at something like double that price and I passed. Now, all ultimate editions seem to be north of $300, and all the ones I've seen are about the same quality as the $120 DSII stuff. They're just not worth it.
But, I'm not the target, and clearly the devs know that the whales will snatch these no matter what the cost, so there...
This right here. I played the hell out of the OG Tenchu and loved it, but this trend of constantly reviving stuff needs to die off, even if said stuff is stuff I love.
This looks pretty cool. Level 5 does good work. Rogue Galaxy is one of my all-time favorites.
I don't think digital games have had much, if any, effect on the collector's market. Emulation has been around forever, it's relatively easy to use, and prices for physical copies on the collector's market are healthy, even for games that are easily emulated.
Dig it. Been a fan of Spiderweb since way back when I got a freeware demo of Avernum. The graphics can be a hurdle for some, but these are really great games.
Screw Blizzard. Free Hong Kong.
Nice.
Well, that's a bummer, but I'm not really surprised. I wish console makers would roll out a wood grain edition of current gen consoles, though. I'd snatch one.
Okay, but let's be honest: purposefully avoiding making women attractive didn't start with 40k games. You can argue the point for the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, but they're trying to pull this in tons of other games; meanwhile, men are still allowed (required, even) to look normal or even attractive.
Why do devs hate women?
I feel bad for Mike Pondsmith and R. Talsorian Games. He's a genuine good guy, and they're a great little company, and this should have been a real boon for them. Had it been a bit, movie deals would have been next, but CDPR dropped the ball pretty badly.
"There is a mobile..."
Stopped reading right there.
Hopefully multiplayer this time. The pawns just annoyed me; I'm not a huge fan of AI partners, and mine never shut up or stayed alive.
Co-op Dragon's Dogma would be friggin' stellar, though!
Looks cool! I need to finish the first one, though...
Dang, that's badass!!
Edit: some madman's gonna post a video using this to do a no-hit run in Elden Ring in 3...2...1...
Huh. Could be nifty.
Sounds pretty cool. I hope it's not as "looter shooter" as Diablo, Borderlands, or Destiny, though. Gets tedious stopping every few minutes to see what new weapon or gear you picked up, comparing stats, blah, blah, blah.
Edit: after watching some of that annoying-ass video, seems like it might lean that way...😕
I'll take some more turn-based tactical, too. What I wouldn't do for a legit new entry in the Front Mission franchise (and an official FM 5 port).
I had honestly forgotten all about Stadia
Man, that would be awesome! I wonder if they could put the VMU-based stuff on a phone app. Pinta's Quest was such an odd, cool feature.
