If a company has the right to change something I've already purchased -- whether those changes are small or large -- I should have the right to get a refund when they do it if it's something I don't agree with.
Updating a game's performance or patching out bugs or glitches is one thing; altering something that has no bearing on gameplay just because it runs counter to your personal politics, beliefs, or philosophy is censorship, and it's especially dirty to do it ...
Dang. I thought it said "Gunhed."
Good for them. Sinking City was an odd game for me. Tons of jank and filler, and poorly tacked-on combat and character upgrades, but decent writing and stories that were compelling enough to make me finish the game.
It feels like it wants to be a point-and-click adventure game, but got shoehorned into an open-world RPG.
They oughta add Japanese Spider-Man to the game - giant Mecha and all
I'm still playing the hell out of Elite: Dangerous. The newer stuff may not be supported on console, but I have hundreds of hours in it without Odyssey, and I'll still be playing for the foreseeable future.
If you're into sims, and don't mind some learning curve and grind, there's a lot to be had.
And as hectic or frustrating as it can get sometimes, it's definitely my go-to chill out game right now.
Front Mission (almost all of them), Robot Alchemic Drive, and Steambot Chronicles are all excellent mech games. All *very* different, too.
Also, Assault Suits Valken and Leynos.
Poirot looks like Bill the Butcher from Gangs of New York
Not these days, it ain't! 🤣🤣

Played it for a few days when it was free on PS+. The game I played was alright, not the broken mess it was upon release, but the "Bethesda Formula" for RPGs has worn thin for me, which is the same reason I felt no sadness at Starfield being and Xbox exclusive; 76 was more of the same, and Starfield looks no different.
If it ain't making money, go ahead and give it the axe, I guess, and I say that as someone who still plays the hell out of Elite: Dangerous on PS4.
“To unlock the Archon in Remnant 2, one must penetrate the code itself. We knew we couldn’t stop datamining, so we leaned into it,” says principal designer Ben Cureton.
That's pretty dang cool!
The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

Amazon guy didn't answer anything. "Acknowledge and deflect, acknowledge and deflect."
I'm tired of GaaS and battle passes, but I guess as long as people keep coughing up for them they're here to stay.
Yet another protagonist who has to constantly quip or comment about every single thing that happens. I hope that trend dies sooner rather than later.
Loved the first one, hope this one lives up to it!
Bungie: "Marathon"
Me: "OOOOOOO!"
Bungie: "Gameplay loop"
Me: "Uh-oh..."
Edit: Oh, jeez, its way worse than I thought. What the hell does this game have to do with OG Marathon?!
Hell, yeah, man. I'd love to get my hands on one of those for nostalgia's sake! 😆
Damn, I didn't know about Helldivers 2. Hell, yeah. Time to successfully complete a mission only to accidentally get crushed by the evac shuttle! 😆😆. Loved that game.
I wonder if there's enough demand for a Days Gone sequel, or if that boat has sailed? I'd buy it if it came out today, but it'd be at *least* 3-4 years from now before release, and that's a long time between games. What a bummer.
