Why "Or" and not "and"?
Both consoles have amazing lineups, if you have a 360 or ps3, you will have some good times coming up, if you have both, then your wallets gonna hurt. ;)
Gaming fans (not company, console fanboys) dont need such list warz.
Even kotaku themselves say in the rumor, that NT is not working on HS2.
The rumor is about Hs2 and Sony cambridge not NT.
Also NT said on GAF that they indeed have left the building -> that was part of the Kotaku rumor. Go figure.
At least there is a current gen console with decent jrpgs on it. And I wouldnt call Tri-Ace RPGs "B-ones", the mistwalker stuff was good, nothing groundbreaking, but the 360 has some enjoyable jRPGs.
360 is teh FPS machine youre absolutely right, with such exclusive bombs like Haze, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 coming up...no wait...Sony, the rpg king of the last generation is currently hyping shooters the most.
Yeah I forgot about Mistwalker, but I doubt they will release anything this year. It would be too much, in my opinion since most of the RPGs get released at the end of 2008. Lots of RPG awesomeness is coming up.

eastern RPGs: Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia
It all comes down to personal tastes, all I'm saying is that Microsoft doesn't have to hide behind Sony this year when it comes to quality and quantity.
FFXIII, Versus, WKC, I cannot play those this year or anytime soon. Trailers wont do, and they dont make the lineup of 2008 any better or give advantages just because we know they will come sometime in 2009. Everything else that green listed, I can play his year.

Where does sony have any advantages? Microsoft is covering almost every genre, Sony is not, especially in terms of rpgs.

MS is at least on par with sony, and they are destroying both nintendo and sony when it comes to RPGs.
MS has a strong lineup for 2008, stronger than I have expected. They waited long (GDC, Gamers day) to reveal their stuff for this year but combined with the 3rd party efforts, MS is easy on par with Sony.
NG2, Gears 2, Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery, Sacred 2, Fable 2, Banjo 3, Viva Pinata 2...if this is the lineup of a dead console then I never want to play with a living console again.

MS gave the devs a pretty easy developing platform. Its so easy to port from PC to 360 and vice versa, where on the other hand, a lot of devs have problems with the PS3. Not all, but a lot (when Sony has to send out their own devs to R* to help them develop GTAIV for PS3, its saying something)
My guess is, its the same with Star Ocean 4. Tri-Ace are working with MS since 2005 (on IU) so they have learned and gained a lot of experience with the (easy to handle) system, SO4 is just...
Neither is Final Fantasy...or Dragon Quest. those games didnt start with FFVII or DQVII, there was FF before, and there will be FF on other platforms then a Sony platform.
Squaresoft or Square Enix were, are and always will be multiplatform. They go where the money is. Loyalty means nothing in our capitalistic world.

But still, looks like PS3 is still getting the most ass licking from the ANALysts, despite they are still overall third and just recently cancelled two high budget 1st party games.

Thats a problem that even Sony had with the PS3, and will have again with the PS4, and they even dont have that much money like MS, yet everyone is pretty sure a PS4 will come, right?
