The pricing is structured different. Movies and shows are not as expensive. Games when they first come out are priced substantially higher.
Ubisoft announces a similar thing it will be great news for Microsoft if Sony refuses again.
Sony might have trouble securing exclusive content from them then.
Master@ I explained my reasoning before. It shouldn't effect sales on either platform because newer titles have a waiting period to appear in the Vault. And its unlikely Sony gamers would boycott games because of exclusive content. But exclusive content may offered first on the Microsoft platform ...
I hope Microsoft reveals some new games in the pipeline. Microsoft won E3 but it may be a different story this time. I hope they stop being so American centric with their reveals.

I think Sony should have given people the choice. EA might turn to Microsoft now as the lead platform and lets be honest most of the big mutiplat's originate from EA. What Sony going to do if Ubisoft does it too?

Sony has been selling consoles longer than Microsoft. Sony has always been the leader.
Microsoft turned it around with the 360. PS3 sales are hard to pin down but the last official announcement from them was 80 million November 2013. You have to work out the potential PS3 sales after that i think 83 million is a fair estimate.

EA is a separate company (entity) Microsoft doesn't control this service. EA is offering games for a knocked down price. Its a great deal.

Microsoft does not own the rights to this EA does and its solely up to them who what games they offer.
I see nothing wrong with the deal when you compare pricing of games like Battlefield 4 and Fifa 14 and other EA games on other sites of purchase.
Operating income was only 696 million that's still poor for a company as large as Sony. Most AAA games today cost around 100 million to develop. So Sony isn't suddenly going to be able to spend. This money has to be spread around the whole company for different projects

Its underpowered xb1? Well lets look at the PS4 Infamous was only 30 frames so was Killzone 30 frames (in fact Sony is getting sued by the courts for lying about the game claiming the multiplayer was 1080p when it was 720p in reality.
PS4 isn't a beast at all and destiny proved it once and for all. If the PS4 was vastly superior destiny would be 60 frames on PS4, but it isn't. Even the remastered Last Of US drops frames down to the 40's in some areas. Hardly a 60 fr...

I agree too many idiots on this site handing out disagrees. BF4 is still priced at 59 dollars last time i checked (last week) that's only 1 game. 30 dollars is not a bad deal to play all does games for a year.

This is not a confirmation of anything, just speculation the release of Battlefield Hardline may delay Battlefront.
This a game i'm really looking forward to so if they need to delay it to make it outstanding do it.
