I don't buy that at all.We know for a fact Microsoft sold 1.2 million units in November sold through in the United States what did they sell worldwide November? December it was 2 million+ worldwide. Why would it not benefit the x box 1 at all? Directx11 area of problems would be the same for PC and x box 1!

I like the fact Microsoft is showing innovation and not copying other peoples ideas. VR is likely coming but if not i bet Microsoft is looking at bringing Oculus rift to x box 1 and ties in with windows 10. Bringing windows gaming and x box 1 gaming together even more is the plan.

Microsoft tech is more advanced and you could potentially use it to design and produce products, help people in need, create games, and so on.
VR is impressive tech also but its mainly only works for games so far but its the future and Sony is on the ball with it and be interesting to see how far they take it.

Either its been delayed the other possibility exclusives are been made with directx12 now and windows 10 in mind. For me i hope its the second option because it means we are getting games coming out in 2015 with directx12 and don't have to wait till 2016.

To be honest i can't wait to see Gears of War its predominately why i own an x box 1 anyway. Have a high end PC but i use it mainly for strategy based games like Total war.
Microsoft has lot of good games coming in 2015 scalebound and quantum break are games i likely pick up they look good.
PC to x box 1 is going to be announced this year i believe they're doing a deal with steam, but holding off on that announcement till its final. Believe or not people have the Windows 10 tech preview on their PC's running already with the features shown at the Microsoft conference. One user also found directx12 is installed but you can't use it yet.
