I disagree i think its a strategic move.
Sony has confirmed they will not have a Gamescom conference this year that means Microsoft will have all the gaming headlines around August time. With Halo 5 coming around October momentum for the xbox one brand in Europe and elsewhere is more likely.
Microsoft probably looked at it people know those games are coming why not just keep them for Gamescom it only 7 weeks later.

Microsoft bundles are not the greatest at the moment. MCC bundle and Assassins creed bundle are the two on sale plus the standard one with a couple of games.
They did ok saying all that, but Sony bundles are just more appealing Batman is a newer game.
After E3 more custom bundles will be introduced like the Halo 5 one we see what happens then how well it sells?

Personally i would hope more games will be shown.
There is alot of rumors going around MS has a couple of megatons for E3 but thats just speculation at this point.
We can only say for sure when E3 is over if it was the right decision to leave those games out.

x box one bundles are old they have been around for months now. The only new one introduced recently was the White console for MCC and it was limited. I never made a prediction for anyone this month.
Sony was more likely to win the bundles are just better value. Batman bundles are newer for Sony and i think they added an extra game to one of their standard bundles also this month.
First the screen is showing a compare window which likely means the person on the otherend was comparing games with Phil.
Since xbox live is for the 360 and xbox one, 360 games will show up as well in the list when you compare.
Plus why would the box art be showing the 360 version.
Phil Speech well that solves it not just about xbox one. The partnership is for Windows 10, PC development of VR games, he even talks about DX12 (PC side for Rift)
The streaming stuff seems to be for xbox one owners thats cool. You own a xbox one and have a PC and you have oculus you can stream your xbox one games to it and mess with the landscape surrounding you.
It has potential, made lot of sense for Microsoft to go with Oculus when they're involved with the PC market. VR gaming been mainstream anytime soon is a bit off yet though.

VR is a fad at the moment it will be many years before its a mainstream product and Microsoft knows it reason why they never brought out a device of their own.
VR requires lot of power to render the games we have today. The games that will be available will be mostly look like indie titles.
Microsoft probably jumped on this because they're trying to reposition themselves in the PC space, it may not be all about xbox one at all.
Gameplay is always first, then frame rate, then graphics, last should be resolution.

Breakpad@ Devs had already started developing games with the DX11 api, for those games had to come at launch and afterwards on time. Devs have deadlines and targets to keep they can't just stop and change over to DX12.
