YOU WONT LOSE SHIT, it's saved to your system, so unless your PS3 dies and Sony hasn't backed up your online data, you're fine.

The problem im getting is when im configuring the video settings on my PS3.
When using HDMI i'll have the option of 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p, but when using component i get none of those, it's auto set to 480p.
I'll give it another try soon, my TV also seems to have a problem with component (overpowering reds with my PSP-TV components)
