Sony doesnt really need Xbox player base when its so small in comparison to their own. Xbox on the other hand need the PlayStation player base because it is so large and that they have bought studios for 80 billion dollar. They need to get a as large player base as possible to put their games on and start getting value for their investment.
This isnt gonna bring in any new players. Only those whose nostalgic about the franchise. I think they should have made a full remake.
If you have the money and dont mind the extra work to put it together and keep it updated PC will always have the best versions.
But there is alot of people who just dont like playing on pc and for them its nice to have different options, from entry level to enthusiast options.
So 3 days early is ok? How about a month? And maybe have tiers. For 100$ you get to play it 30 days early, 90$ 7 days early and 70$ on launch day.
Because thats the sentiment publisher will get if they get away with 3 days early.
Yea, didnt think about the launch games last gen. But those were some amazing looking games.

I think its necessary for Halo to be multiplat because Xbox doesnt have the market to do what they once did. And with that i dont think the lack of revenue it would get from being on game pass helps.
But is that enough for it to compete with the shooters on the market?

60fps should always be an option, no matter the hardware. Yea on some hardware it wont look good, but atleast thats up to the player.
I would buy it if it came att the 700$ price here in Sweden. But for us its just above 1000$ (Counted in SEK), wich is an insane currency exchange.

Not really worried about Helldivers 2. It has around 35k concurrent players. When they drop som significant dlc like a new species or something like that it will pick up. Its in its core gameplay a really fun game.
Hated Tlou 2 storywise the first time i tried to play it. Played through half and then stopped. Picked it up when it was patched for PS5 and kinda changed my mind on it. Dont know if i needed some distance to it to appreciate it or what it was.
