I'm not a big 360 guy, but I openly admit I have a 360 solely because Gears of War was the FIRST GREAT next gen game I played. It looked MINDBLOWING at the time and I remember playing 3 hours into the campaign at a friends house before getting a 360 and borrowing the game to play through with my bro.
It's one of the few games that actually implements meaningful co-op, not just the second player as a clone as the first. (Halo did too, but not as well as Gears did IMO) ...
The tester is pretty cool. I only watched the finale on PS Home, but it was col going into the theater and seeing like 100 people sitting around watching the stream. I'm definitely going to watch this season from the start.
No, people bitch about it like it affects them in anyway. If you don't like COD don't buy it. Its aimed at people that aren't really good at gaming and don't have the time to play enough at a game to become a pro. That's why gamers like me have KZ and BF (even Resistance to an extent).

imagine a next gen where NPCs do more than stand around and awit for you to talk to them, dynamic weather (No I don't mean just rain or sunshine, I mean actual seasons being in the game) AND day/night cycles, more effects (better lighting, destruction in almost every game, better physics, etc..), larger player/NPC counts (yes, I believe ARMA has like 100 of people on screen, but it'd be nice to have it on consoles)

that's an extreme example of having almost 100% no control over the game, but I like when games limit the player a little in order to provide a better experience. Going out of the sewers and having access to everything all the while not knowing what the hell to do was kind of overwhelming. I got bored fast (early on) not having any direction and having COMPLETE control over the whole game that early.

situation. I feel Nintendo should just release a true mindblowing next gen console rather than a console slightly better than the PS3 and 360. Both Sony and MS are probably going to go nextgen soon so the WiiU would be dead on arrival if Sony and MS announce the next console next year.

I hated using the paradigm system which locked abilities to each paradigm. They made the characters all good at a certain area, why not go with that. Vanille and Hope were great mages, why not just make them that? Lightning was good at everything, why not just allow characters have access to all their skills? - When given powers from Ares, he was forced to slay his family and has to live with the guilt for the rest of his life (the ashes from their burnt bodies forever on his body also)
- You can see the guilt when he sees his daughter in GOW: Chains of Olympus when he ALMOST breaks down after meeting her again. (He even tries to kill himself just to escape from it, you can see that he is in fact human, not some rageaholic)

Why are they doing this now? Especially in this time frame when games like Arkham, Uncharted, Gears, Skyrim, Resistance, RAGE, etc.. are coming. I don't see the point, I'd only buy it if it came with Crysis 2 for $60.
