Are you taking in account that the previous game was released to over 200 million people across 3 platforms and then again to an addition 10 million on the PS4/X1?
Its not blindly defending
Its common sense. Game development takes years.
You can't copy game mechanics from a game teaser. We didn't get to fully see Titanfall until last year at E3. You're saying its rational to think that Sledgehammer created an entire game around Titanfall's ideas within a year?
If so, you're giving Sledgehammer much more credit than they deserve
Its hilarious that people actually believe they could copy a game that released a few months ago
Both developers had the same ideas but Titanfall came out first
If Advanced Warfare came out last November people would call Titanfall "COD with mechs" (people were saying that at the time of its announcement ironically lmao)
How I felt after 3 (and I am one of the few that don't think Assassin's Creed 2 is that great either)
I've come to the conclusion that Ubisoft won't make very many "Great" games due to them having all their talent spread across various studios working on different things.
They have 400 people all over the place working on stuff so although all their games look good, have large environments, have lots of side missions and collectible...
I don't think it matters
Devs can make whatever remasters they want, no one is forced to buy any of them
Unless devs are literally not making new games in order to remaster their old ones (which isn't happening) all the announced remasters shouldn't be upsetting people as much as they are
The next game could star his brother Deimos. Even though he's "dead" Kratos released all the souls in Hades after killing him
No teleports in a game as big as Skyrim?
Game gonna take 100 hours just to complete the main story lol
Edit: nvrmind there's still fast travel thankfully
There is no study done that interviews the entire population the study is on, especially if those being studies number in the millions and are spread across the world. Using a sample is a standard way of gathering more than reasonable statistics
Secondly, although its petty, the console fanboys that are celebrating in the comments here are half right. Even if some may be running beastly rigs on sub 1080p monitors, the "PC Master Race" doesn't represent the major...
The single player is 1080p so they are justified in putting 1080p on the box
Whoever is suing is gonna waste money on this
Chrono Trigger and Cross are 100x better than FFVII
That is a bad argument
The game was made for the PS3. It wasn't a PS4 game ported to the PS3, it was the other way around. How could you feel ripped off that over a year later a game that you had purchased got a GoTY edition that has more value than the base game. People are complaining just for the fact that the remaster exists which makes no sense as it's existence didn't stop a new game from coming out nor are they required to buy the damn remaster in the first...
But that is irrelevant
Uncharted 4 isn't coming out next year because of the Last of Us remaster. The new Tomb Raider isn't coming out next year (or 2016) because of the Tomb Raider Definitive edition
People are so used to Last gen's frequent offerings that the regular summer drought (and devs taking advantage of it by releasing remasters) is a sign that the current gen consoles have nothing to offer
In the next few months Far Cry...
They are all essentially GOTY versions of the games
If The Last of Us came out on the PS3 again as a GOTY edition with all the DLC for $50 no one would say anything. I find it hilarious that just because its on the PS4 its a problem
No one was crying when the Arkham City GOTY edtion came out, or the Borderlands 2 GOTY edition, or the Resident Evil 5 gold edition, or Arkham Asylum GOTY edition etc
PS. All those GOTY editions either costed ful...
There is plenty of special ammo boxes littered around maps. You almost always respawn near one whenever you die and come back
Lol
The price model will change. Why?
Because nobody is gonna rent MGS4 for 30 days for $5.99 when they can buy it for $5
The pricing is horrendous and it will be a massive failure if they decide not to listen to practically everyone that looks at it. Sony can't be that stupid to proceed with PSNow in an era where unlimited access on a subscription model is how digital content works (see massive success of Netflix)
Yes
This game might end up with less content than Borderlands 2 with 10x the budget
Why was this approved.....
If they make a monthly/yearly subscription I'd jump in
Not doing this on a per game basis
@NewMonday
That makes no sense
There weren't going to be 0 people that bought tomb Raider on the PS3 (which Uncharted 4 wouldn't exist on) and the PS4
Tomb Raider sold great on the PS platforms and many people were/are anticipating the sequel
The internet uproar wouldn't have happened if people didn't care about the sequel
