Cool article. Glad the X1 is getting some positive news these days. Both consoles are great in different ways. Go for what you want and enjoy and don't harass others who choose differently. It's just gaming folks. I love my X1 and am considering a PS4 someday.

I'll take a slightly lower res for rock solid 60fps on first person shooters. It's a must for me. Gimmie 900p upscaled running at 60 and I'm good vs 1080 30. We really should be talking 1080p 60fps every game this gen though. I'm already about to get a 4k TV and soon 6k video monitor.

Jus to be fair. Not all PS4 games are 1080p In fact WatchDogs is 900p and nobody complained. When X1 is 900p all of a sudden it sucks. GTFOH. At least be fair

Seems like there will be some efficiency enhancements which might lead to faster loads, slightly better textures, and more locked in FPS overall. Not massive but stabilizing. Any upgrade is welcome regardless. Love my X1 getting my PS4 once Uncharted or God of War is further along.
Cool. Would like to see X1 get to 1080p on this as well. Wont hinder the fun but with the 10% GPU unlocked hopefully it's not too late to implement on X1. If not give us 900p at least. Kojima is in bed with Sony so I'm not really optimistic about it lol.
We already download everything digitally except games on consoles (mainly). Steam is helping to change that. As is a renewed focus on PC gaming. I vote all digital with reduction in price and an increase in added features. I think in 5-7 years the next consoles will be digital focused with offloaded processing via servers and incredible fidelity and graphics. Online makes sense as long as they don't restrict you.
