I'm buying one day 1 but let's be clear...this is MS trying too late to catch up with Sony. This gen is toast and Sony won and I don't even own a PS4 (owned 360, Ps2,3 and Wii and now XB1 soon X). I'm personally excited as I'm a day oner for most things I like and my HDR TV is ready for visual glory. I'm cool with multi-plats for now. Hope MS announces something soon as they are in drought after cancelling several big exclusives.

Honestly, each system from here on out should have voice commands. I love telling Cortana to turn off and on my xbox, especially when napping on the couch. I mean we live in the world of Siri, Alexa, etc. We don't need a stupid Kinect..Just voice recognition software/device. Would be a cheap accessory I'd pay $20 for

Makes sense. It has the guts so why wouldn't it be. Yea it's not going to beat an ultra PC setup but for $350 after trade in it's a steal. Multi-plats, which there are tons of, will be great and the few exclusives will shine. My bet is that this is the first step in MS getting their collective s.h.*.t. together-hopefully. Would be nice to see some solid exclusive support to bring back the glory days of creation ala OG Xbox. Also, gonna be interesting to see Sony conter with the PS...

Might want to go check again. Not trolling but there is definitely a sharper image on the X1X side. Just look at the assets with open eyes not goggles.
Definitely a difference. Seriously stop lying to yourselves and go look again. X1X is way sharper. Ps pro looks good but blurrier and lower rez textures all day long. Misleading title: Clickbait. It should read "Microsoft says that this will be th elast consoles released generationally" The point is that we won't be seeing 8 year gaps where Sony and MS launch products based on each others expected timeframes. They will release new tech as they feel it is ready opposed to on a fixed cycle aka generation like we have had until this point.
Both look great. PC a bit better obviously but considering the cost to own a PC that plays at Ultra or High settings with zero lag will cost way more than a x1. Side by side for the PC to have double the RAM and a much beefier processor, the X! holds it's own very well. There definitely isn't a MAJOR difference. A difference yes (I'd say 15-20% better) I'm sure framerate will be the biggest notice.
