Call of Duty haters are coming
I was being sarcastic hence the "/s" at the end. Just mocking all the naysayers who keep on using that 10 year life cycle quote as to why next gen isn't coming.

This article is terrible. Does anyone remember when the Xbox 360 was unveiled at E3 2005 and released 6 months later? Remember what the top game at launch was? Call of Duty 2 by Infinity Ward. With IW working on the 360 version, that's what gave Treyarch an opportunity to start making CoD games as they were tasked by Activision to make Big Red One for the Xbox and PS2.
We've already seen rumors that IW is hiring for a next gen CoD game and also that Sledgehammer...

Yeah, a lot of stories and posters on here lack common sense and logic. Just looking at facts and historic trends, if you are to guess a release date all signs point to mid May (probably May 21st)
1. As I said earlier, the last three releases from R* have all come out on the third Tuesday of May.
2. Take-Two, R*'s parent company is releasing Bioshock Infinite on March 26. There's no way they'd release GTA5 the same week.
3. E3 is in June and i...
There's no way it comes out in two months. Huge games like GTA need at least 3-4 months for marketing and building the hype train. I expect this game to come out in mid-May just like their last three releases (Max Payne, LA Noire, RDR).
Bioshock Infinite comes out on February 26th, not March....

@StraightPath. great post, my thoughts exactly. it's been hilarious reading N4G this week and seeing the result of the convergene of Sony fanboyism and COD hate with the Sony love winning out. some fanboys are even claiming Declassified is a better game than it's full fleshed console counterparts. SMH
I've actually played it on my little brother's Vita and it is utter garbage. It's so ironic to me that so many ppl constantly hate COD on this site yet when it comes to the Vita all those same haters are trying to defend this version. The fact that they are charging $50 for this game is a joke. The modern combat series for smartphones has better graphics and costs a fraction of the price.

That is not an apples to apples comparison. Despite the PS3's struggles, the home console market's outlook was still positive. Additionally, the PS3 had plenty of 3rd party support and games in the pipeline. When you look at the Vita, the situation is much more dire. The handheld console market is shrinking fast and 3rd party support is basically non-existent.
Can you list five third party games that are coming to the Vita in 2013? If COD and AC fail this holiday, don't expect to see any other third party publishers invest in the Vita.
The positive user reviews are from fanboys who are desperately trying to justify their Vita purchase and want to believe that every new game could be the console's savior. I never trust user reviews for console exclusives.
