Finally... Someone who knows the true story of what happened with Sega. Even if the Wii U is a epic fail, which I don't think it will be. Nintendo will be alright. I am also curious why some people are cheering for them to fail. I play games on all consoles and I have a monster of a PC. If I didn't like a company or its products, I wouldn't support them but I wouldn't want them to fail.

It would be common sense to everyone around here except the trolls. There is no way you can tell me that the Wii U couldn't run a game that the Xbox360 and PS3 is running. How come Need For Speed a game based on the FrostBite engine ran with no problem being ported on a old development kit in less than 6 months. I would rather EA come out and say we have no business with Nintendo instead of them and their developers feeding us a line of bullshit.
Even a gaming PC can't be a perfect gaming PC.
What killed the Dreamcast was Sega's financial situation before the console was ever released. Its still one of my favorite consoles of all time. Also the rampant piracy that plagued it didn't help.
Call me crazy but what if the next generation systems got an entirely different Call of Duty. That would entice people to double dip. Maybe that's why they are going to announce at a later date. Just food for thought.

Not hating on consoles because I have every one that was released in North America since the 80's and I even imported some but I totally agree with your take on the PC.
How bout we don't have to know how it works but it's what we see. When you see a PS3 do native 1080p or higher and run at a steady 60 fps or higher give me a call. Not knocking the PS3 but once again I'm being a realist.
You pissed off the fanboys. To them, the PS4 is going to be the greatest graphics producing monster ever created. How can something produce the same or better graphics costing maybe $500 as well as something costing $2000 or more? Let's be honest with ourselves. I am getting the PS4 but I am a realest. If you expect high end PC graphics, prepared to be let down. Same thing with the Next Xbox.
Actually Nvidia did give us those games. Last time I checked all of those games are on the PS3 and the PS3 uses a Nvidia graphics card.

I stopped playing the Need For Speed series until I was tempted to try this out for the Wii U and I have to say this is how a port should be done.
To best honest, I don't even think Nintendo has even made a serious effort to market or push the Wii U to consumers yet. Think about it. How many commercials or advertisements have you seen for the Wii U? Not too many after the initial launch. I think they just wanted to get the console to the market and see how many of the early adopters they could get before going full scale and putting the dollars into marketing it.
