Lies, there is a backdoor to whatever service you're using whether it's live, psn, wow or even myspace. You don't even have to give out your password at all, there are some websites that does allow others to hack into your myspace/live/psn/wow/whatever and give you the info. If it's not websites then the second reason it's just hackers.
