It's strongly dependant on ram usage of applications. Launch less memory consuming OS and software and the difference will not be as great as in this example where system tries to stuff all that data in 2gb.
And definetly yes. 4gigs of ram is optimal amount for Vista. Everything strongly depends on operations user want to perform on his system.
I'll give Mass Effet one week. It'll be cracked in no time so what's the point? I'm not much into piracy and would buy the game if it would be good enough but honestly, I hate SecuROM, online activations and 3 times install. As a customer, would love to install the game and play without screwing around. It's just dumb for me. You may not agree with me and... Who cares.

It's a little more b**chin as were with XP when it was released. I have Vista installed in my work and I don't like this idea at all. As WinXP and Linux user I'll say: Let's give it few years, maybe then it'll work as fine as XP now.
There are really cool games on GC. Baten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia(port from DC), Crystal Chronicles(sucks that it needs those GBA's to play coop), Tales of the Abyss and Symphonia are quite engaging too.

GTA4 is great but how can anyone say that it's perfect with all those issues spreading all over internet? OMG! Someone have cast Darkness on them! Or dorkness for that matter.
@CERULA: tell that someone who waited for GTA4 for a long time, has this problem and I'm pretty sure he/she would love to fry your brain with just staring at you. No offense mate but I would be boiling with anger and drowning in sadness if it would happen to me.

If you have errors with time ignore them and proceed. If you can't logo on, well, there are thousands other people who want to play badly. Little patience and understanding and it'll be ok.

I love my PS3 and I won't say a bad word about X360, it's good stuff and have great titles. Everyone will buy the game for console they like most or have(and have the one they like...).
GTA4 looks like extraordinary title in overall and I'm pretty sure most of us will have fun playing it no matter the system.
There were bigger issues in the past and somehow gamers didn't make all that fuss about it.
