Sound is really great as long as you have good sound system. Maybe they used those 2W speakers integrated with monitors...
Gameplay: MGS4 hard? I was quite disappointed how this game was easy in comparison to previous MGS'. Also, there was this huge hype about 30 hours of story I ended up with 17... But starting from the beginning in a bit harder difficulty level.

Bought my PS3 for this game and FF13. No regrets at this point.

I don't really care about it. I preordered MGS4 and gonna have a lot of fun with it. Loved previous MGS' and I'm pretty sure, that i'll love 4 also. It's all about personal preferences. All you crying fanboys, you'll still gonna buy the game so stop this god damned fanboy flame.

3 and 5. Escaping police now is easier than previously and Niko, seemed like a cool guy and became a pushover for "kill" missions one after another. I have 50% and well... Not enough story.
Sure, the game's very detailed: exploding tires, talking people, friends, minigames and so on, but lacks those few important things that Vice City and San Andreas had.
Everyone will miss Snake. But on the other hand, it's great that he's not immortal but almost real, detailed person.
MGS4 will be great without paying reviewers to look at it through fingers.
Screenshots won't show us how reliable this OS is.
