Some of are are too young to remember this, but Steam was hated when it first launched. We were forced to install and use it, to play their games. Sure it’s loved now, it’s normal. It’s all a lot of customers know. The same will be true for new launchers/platforms. I really do miss the truly open days of the Internet. But the convenience and playability is hard to deny. You don’t miss what you never had.

This is what you get when everything you do is based on arbitrary diversity and identity politics. This is what happened to the game industry. This is why it’s falling apart. Developers such as Bioware, Dice, Bungie, etc. are not the same companies you remember. The talent, skill, and work ethic isn’t there anymore.
