Credibility? You are either 12, or suffer from delusion. This review is the subjective opinion of one man. He makes his living playing and talking about video games. How much so-called credibility does one need to talk a bout a video game in the first place. Crazy talk! You, are the kind of person who needs to be agreed with constantly. Perhaps you should only read reviews from people who agree with you in the future. It is obvious you lack the mental maturity to think critically.
How does an individual capable of critical thinking, have loyalty towards a corporation that does not even know they exist. If that is not delusional, I don't know what is.
Uncharted 2 should have sold 40 million copies according to this theory. You know, an actual great game.
The complaints are coming from peoples opinions. The individual knows what they like and dislike. There is nothing to debate. Personally I find The Order: 1886 to be a dated game, that insults with its handholding and forced narrative. The gameplay is weak. The QTEs are ridiculous. And I would change the name of the game to, The Order: The Movie.
Wake me up when I can stream movies and music from my PC. Like I can on the XB1, PS3, XB360.
Just another FPS, yet this one is just a re-skinned Battlefield game. Make sense if there is no third-person, considering the Battlefield series is built around first-person view. Again, proving they are just doing a conversion mod for BF. Hardline is no different.
People who have learned nothing will buy it launch day, and even pre-order it. Then spend 6 months complaining about it. EA knows you will do this. They do not care, as long as you buy it. And you buy the so-called...
You new to N4G? This place is heavily populated by Sony fanboys. And favorable stories regarding the Playstation are ran constantly. The opposite is true of the Xbox. Personally, I have always owned both consoles, so I am not blinded by delusion. And the differences is incredibly easy for me to see. Regarding the article. It's an opinion of one person who is attempting to speak for millions of people. As a consumer you should always be skeptical. Perhaps act like a paying customer, and le...
So the writer thinks the Souls games are beloved because of arbitrary difficulty? Perhaps he should stop attempting to speak for millions of people. Yeah, that's an idea.
QTEs and third-person shooting that looks 10 years old. The only thing I see remotely innovating is the fidelity is some circumstances. Of course that could change as well. It would not be the first Sony backed game to show one version of a game, while shipping another.
I am a consumer, not a fan. Although I do like the direction Spencer has taken Xbox. That is his job after all.
Fallout is the game most people seem to want, and what I assumed would be the next logically choice. I just finished Skyrim not to long ago. Then they launched the MMO that failed to give people what they wanted. Skyrim with COOP! Was that so hard. So why put out another Elder Scrolls game before a new Fallout title? The buzz over the past few years has been about Fallout. How could they not see that hype-train building.
I will play a new Elder Scrolls game developed by Howar...
Newsflash: 90% of the articles linked here at N4G are opinion pieces. I imagine you only notice it when someone paints Sony in a negative light. Even when they absolutely deserve it. I certainly have not forgotten 2011. And as a paying customer, I won't forget 2014 either. But I do not suffer from delusion, nor do I have misplaced loyalty for a corporation. That's just me though.
Who is paying an extra $100 for a cheap paint job? Does it get more arbitrary than that. One would have to suffer from a serious case of delusional fanboyism.
Yes, she was in grave danger from the 12 year olds. The pussification of the World continues...
What's this, someone attempting to pass a biased opinion off as absolute fact? Must be a Liberal.
I actually had more fun with Sunset Overdrive than most games this year. A well crafted, polished, and great game.
So they will ditch the Call of Duty arcadiness, and opt for large maps with a focus on strategic and tactical gameplay? A focus on armor, air and sea power, and transports.
I will believe it, when I see it. I will have plenty of time to see it. I refuse to buy an EA published game at launch and at full price. EA has taught me it is foolish to do so. When you can wait a short time and get a completed, working, full-featured game, at almost half the price.
Tyrannical government, strikes again.
This post should be at 1200 degrees and smoking. It clearly exposes the corruption in the video game media. Gawker, Vox, Destuctiod, Joystiq, ect., are put on blast. And it does it with actual facts and logic. Both completely contrary to how the websites listed operate.
Meh, it is what it is. If I had it to do over again, I would have waited and bought both a year or more later. This Spring most likely. I chose to buy them, so I'm not complaining. Just stating the obvious. I actually hold myself accountable and responsible for my actions. Which of course is rare nowadays.
Looking really good. Especially considering they are using the same code. Finally, a reason to turn my Xbox One on. Of course I only recently turned my PS4 on to play Destiny.
First game I actually rewarded with a pre-order, and purchased day one in quite some time. Not a trend I will continue, thanks to the failures by EA, UBIsoft, ect.
