Are you serious, they really gave Metro 2033 a 6 out of 10?.. heh, was probaly one of the better FPS since HL2 made its appearance. At least i enjoyed playing it on low on my HD3850 back then, among the hardest FPS if im correct, those "lizard-thingies" were tough to kill on medium/hard difficulty.
It's still slow for me. Why the hell did they change the store in the first place? The original was better and faster. Also, the fact that you have to go through 5 menus just to download something (6 if you're buying something) is an absolute joke.

Thanks to metacritic, i managed to avoid Fallout New Vegas and the sort... there is always one or two "honest" reviewer out there. Yeah, scored a 95 when it was released with probably the highest count of bugs in gaming history. So.. fuck´em?
I just wish, sites like 4players.de would actually use metacritic as well... way too many "fake reviews" on that site.

Tbh. the demo didn´t impress me much. More polished as before, but still has the same "look and feel" of todays games... too "plastic".. just another step in the wrong direction. Developer should start making gaming looking diffrent, like with the PS4 Launch Title The Witness.
Aren´t we sick already ? Every game is just a more polished - shader 4.0 game than the previous one, like it has way too much bumbmapping and the sort. We need more game...

Yeppers, haven´t played much these 7 years (few PC games), compared to my previous addiction run-throughs :
ca. 50 PS1 Games (PAL and NTSC US and 1x chipped console, 75€ per game import sold everything for about 500€ for a dreamcast)
ca. 65 PS2 Games (2x Pal, 2 NTSC JP and 1x NTSC US Console (damn import and GT3! Release)
ca. 20 Dreamcast Games

Microsoft never had really unique ip to beginn with, just look at the wiki page 260 games (m-platformer and halo, forza).. they purchased Rare for 500?$ Dollars for notin! 1 or 2 games they made.. are those still alive and kicking? The only IP i was interested was PGR! ... besides being the leading platfrom in the USA, i bet the diffrence actually is a lot smaller than most believe. The PS2 and Vita out sell the 360 in Nippon for years, its a great market and one you want to have.

MGS 1 was probably the best Game ever made! Was just a blast when it was released, never seen before... the fight against Mantis on the PS1 was for many their gaming moment in their lives! Nothing comes close to that experience... getting mad, destryoing the gamepad..

This game will be a bad reboot, if the sequel fails to achieve simialr results. Until then, i had fun playing it, although the last part was typically Tomb Raider-esque and to some extent anti-climatic. Compared to that PS2 installment, Darkness sumtin? this one is definitely a great "reboot"... next one though, should have more exploring, adventure and less "blabla" about nonsense.
