the nintendo wii holds no sway over the power of wide dog
i totally agree with you on red steel 2. I don't understand the hype for this game one bit. The first one was complete trash. The only reason it sold well was because it was the only shooter available at launch. The game is completely broken. A shooter that relies on IR and is inaccurate as can be is a complete fail imo. Plus it's a gallery shooter, i played the same game in 5th grade at the arcade, only it was called lethal enforcers back then.
i don't think nintendo's next system will sell as well, maybe a little bit better than the gamecube.
I don't really see most of the non-gaming community who bought the wii for wii sports going out and getting another system.
What do i know though?
I'll buy one because of mario, zelda and metroid but i definitely won't be getting my hopes up for it like i was with the wii. That is unless nintendo goes with motion controls plus HD.
Why do nintendo fanboys always bring up the casual/hardcore argument.
Saying that the wii has a weak game library doesn't make you a "hardcore fad gamer", it makes you not ignorant.
If anything the fad is this rayman raving rabbits/carnival mini game crap that is flooding wii shelf space.

as long as ea allows visceral to be creative and doesn't bog them down with nonsense, i expect nothing but solid games from them. Dead Space is a solid game from start to finish and dantes inferno looks great as well.
this game could score 1/10 across the board and i'd still buy it on launch day. I've been waiting for this game for years. I really hope nibris shows something at e3, that would be freaking awesome.
I think they did mention that they wanted to implement motion plus into the game. Hopefully it'll come out in the fall.
am i the only one who didn't give two craps about this game or any duke nukem game for that matter? DN3d was cool for a week when i was in 5th grade but good lord i have no desire to play that stuff anymore. How many lame one liners can an anti-hero have?

i usually laugh at when kids kill themselves from copying games, (ie, the one the other month where a kid jumped off a roof with a makeshift parachute) but this is really messed up. Poor guy and girl. Hopefully the murderer gets the death penalty or gets thrown in a prison with horrific living conditions. I don't like life sentences because it allows the killer to have the possibility of enjoying life while the victim cannot.

sounds cool, that map looked kinda boring in the video, but i realize that it didn't show everything. Looks like it'll be a solid game.
i didn't realize this was in stores, i thought it was for wiiware. I might have to pick this up, i love a good platformer.
i love gta3, vice city and san andreas but 4 took away the maniacal fun that the others provided, mainly because of the driving. It was more like grand theft turismo.
chinatown wars is awesome though, its $20 brand new at best buy, probably because of weak sales in march. The dialogue is hilarious and it's real fast paced as far as shooting and whatnot. The controls are extremely tight and the 5 radio stations with stock music are actually really good especially the jazz station....

i bought that issue in hong kong's airport last week. Really awesome mag, it came with a complete walkthrough book of re5 for free. I need to get a subscription. Articles are really well written.
