I'm going on 16 but I think this game will be fantastic. I've been keeping my eye on it knowing I would buy it for more than 6 months now, and even though I'm in the UK and western culture isn't exactly big here, I still think the change to a western setting is extremely interesting. I feel happier about my trading in of MW2 for Assassin's Creed II 2 weeks after it came out every day.
This was a disappointing game with what seems to be disappointing players.
This is probably great for first time players, but for the rest of us, Call of Duty is not improving enough to make it interesting. I will be completely skipping out on all Call of Duty games until I see something that looks to change the formula of the game.
If you'd read the article, you'd see that Pachter says 75 million including the DLC loan.
And yes, that's all it was, a loan. Rockstar were funded payment to be able to make the DLC in the first place, then the first load of profit was given to MS, and then sales continued as normal. Microsoft just guaranteed Rockstar the money which made them more comfortable with creating these big DLCs.

Oh god this game looks appalling. I love how in one of the earlier articles posted on N4G, the writer said Deadly Premonition had the potential to be Xbox's Heavy Rain.

Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage - while it wasn't awful DLC it was very short and tended to stick to the weaknesses of Fallout 3's game mechanics (the combat) and not the strengths (role-playing).

I played Call of Duty 4 18 days playing time online. I'm on 15 hours on MW2 and the novelty's worn off, I'm bored. Selling it tomorrow and preordering Mass Effect 2 with the money :)
That's not so amazing... On Call of Duty 4, IW's best time on F.N.G. was 15.1 but me and a friend eventually got down to 13.06
Plenty of other people beat IW times too - this is not article worthy...
